When Your Senior Puppy Becomes Finicky And You Have To Create Food That She'll Eat!

So, Molly's Nostrils Were Stuffed Up And I Googled The Remedy:

SALINE FLUSH FOR DOG NOSTRILS

To make a sinus rinse, or nasal irrigation solution, follow these steps:

mix together 3 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of baking soda.
add 1 tsp of this mixture into 1 cup of water and stir until the solids have dissolved.

The process of flushing is pretty simple.
You gently take the dog by the muzzle and tip its head back and then allow the saline to run into the nostrils, one at a time.
You will not want to forcibly sq**rt the saline in as this will be irritating but rather allow it to gently run into the nose.

Molly Has A Friend! This Is Chip! He Belongs To The Farm Next To My RV Sized Storage Unit. He Comes By So Often That I Keep A Box Of Purina Dog Chow (From Dollar Tree) And 2 Stainless Steel Bowls (From Dollar Tree) Just For Him. Usually, I'll Give Him A Bowl, Or 2, Of The Dog Chow And Off He Goes! Today, I Fed Him, And He Stayed. So I Offered Him Some Water And He Drank. Then, He Laid Down On The Floor! He's Never Done That Before And So I Snagged One Of Molly's Homemade Mattresses/Dog Bed And Laid It Out For Him, And There He Is.
