Star went in for her third round of acupuncture today. They say they are seeing amazing progress in her arms, hands and legs. They did ten needles today that stay in for about 20-30 minutes. She is such a good girl the entire time.❤️

We’ve gotten the results of Star’s echocardiogram. It shows the chambers of her heart do not pump as they should. They pump out of sync, which causes the valves in her heart to leak because her heart muscles are weak and they do not close completely.

She is still making great progress from healing from her stroke, however, we have noticed she does not have any feeling in either hand. Due to this a human is still with her all the time, to make sure she doesn’t get hurt as she can’t go in an enclosure and chance getting hurt if she falls while attempting to climb.

Please continue to bear with us as we aren’t responding to messages as quickly as normal.

Star went in today for her second round of acupuncture. Our vet says she is already seeing a big difference in her muscles. Star handles her treatments so well. She has another treatment next week.

Star is sending lots of thank you kisses to her friend who paid her ENTIRE next acupuncture appointment bill! ❤️

Bouncer therapy! As you can see Star’s feet touch the ground nicely when she is standing but can get lots of exercise and strength building when she really starts bouncing! Let’s go big girl!

Star is making so much progress this week getting mobility back and her strength. We are in constant contact with our numerous vets, always looking for different ideas and suggestions from them on PT moves or other things to help get this girl back to 100%.

Run like the wind Mary-Lou and Blue!
