Hello.
The rattery is Closing permanently. I love breeding this has as been a big passion of mine. Unfortunately I have very Important stuff right to focus on. Breeding rats running my page and keeping up with everything has taken time away from stuff I need to fully be focused on. This is a hard choice for me all rats at the rattery are staying here. No rats will be sold at the time being and will remain pets. I’ll be using this page to post rat pics but no longer rattery stuff.

Being a Business that’s small and new takes a lot. Today I stepped out the comfort zone.. 10 post about my Rattery were made on Facebook group. A craigslist post was made and a post on pet classified was also made.
Please if anyone wants to help spread the word and help get not only my rats adopted but all the rescues rats share my rattery!!

Today we have a special paring. This is in hope for some silvermane Rex baby’s and I’m praying for a Rex silvermane male. The Doe is Gletty and Rex/satin she is a 2nd generation. The Buck is Scooby Doo my big silvermane boy.

When to expect baby’s?
Breeding pair will be together for 8days. A very rough guess is that baby’s will be born beginning- early Middle of December.

Why 8 days?
Rats have their cycle(heat/period) every 4 days and it last for roughly 4 days. 8 days together helps me ensure that she experiences a cycle so she can become pregnant. Say the first 1-4 days she does or does start a cycle then within that 8 day period she will start. In some cases if I feel like she hasn’t taken to the buck we will bump the days up to 10-12 days in total.

The owner of this rescue is amazing. She truly deserves all the love and support. What she does for rats is unbelievable. She rescues rats from any and all situations. She runs completely out of her pocket and tries her best to provide a safe home. She works with all the rats she has and try’s to prepare them for a loving home. Please consider donating or adopting rats from Henderson Rat lovers.
