We need a foster for Raider. He just came in to our shelter today. We are guessing him to be about 6-7 weeks old.

He is very scared here at the shelter and would really benefit from spending these crucial weeks in a home instead of a shelter environment.

Meet Frank. He is 10 weeks old and is a full blooded AMERICAN BULLDOG . He found himself in search of a new home due to health of owner’s senior dog. His other dog was stressing over new puppy and started having seizures so unfortunately Frank was just not a good fit for their home. But he is a sweet guy that needs someone asap as we are completely at max capacity.

We are in need of canned cat/kitten food. Several cats/kittens have been surrendered daily. We are trying hard to spay/neuter each one and find them homes so we don’t have to turn down the ones waiting to come in. It’s a process folks and without help we cannot continue taking in so many.

We took in over 300 puppies and kittens last year. That doesn't include all the "free to a good home" posts you see or the litters people are trying to give away at Walmart or anywhere else. Please take advantage of the low cost spay/neuter information in our earlier post.

This big ole boy is waiting for his forever home!! Flokie is a 2 year old Rott mix. He is very friendly and playful. He loves to cuddle and loves all the attention you want to give him. Flokie does not like cats but is fine with other dogs. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please call 270-724-1385 if you are interested in adopting Flokie!

Sweet Scarlet is really coming around.

This girl came in terrified and would barely come to any of us. She tucked her tail and made herself small but never got aggressive or growled. She was just so overwhelmed with her transition from outside and unsocialized, to a busy shelter with multiple volunteers.

But she’s started greeting us and accepting love. She is a very sweet dog. She just needs some patience and understanding.

Scarlet is full grown. We’re guessing a few years old. She is small. Looks like a miniature husky.

“Looking for a loving forever home for Jinx, a 7 month old cat with a beautiful long, soft coat! He is a sweet boy and loves to play with toys and his siblings! He may take a few days to warm up, but once he does, he is all funny, energetic, and loves to be packed around. He would thrive in a home where he can get lots of play time and affection. He loves to play with other animals, good with cats and dogs! Fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Unfortunately, I can no longer have him in my home as my dog has been suffering with horrible allergies since June, and it has taken this long to find a vet to do blood allergy testing. The results came back with a severe allergy to cats. Despite my best efforts to treat his symptoms, he continues to suffer significantly.
