Our first shoot of the trip the morning after landing late and running on pure adrenaline!

We went downtown by the water in Tromsø to photograph our first two models, Pluto & Luigi. My group started with Pluto, a handsome, energetic, well trained goofy border collie. We started at Porten til ishavet “The Gateway to the Arctic Ocean” mosaic art installation. It was a perfectly framed view of the Arctic Cathedral behind him and then we let him run around for some fun photos.

Meet Moose.

Before the day began, it was just the two of them wrapped in golden light — all love, all closeness, all beginnings. Puppyhood is fleeting, but moments like these are the foundation of a lifelong bond.

Moose is a new service pup in training, and watching the connection already forming between him and his person was such a joy. The cuddles, the smiles, the goofy moments-how cute are these two?! I love knowing these moments will now live on in their photo album forever.

I hear this phrase A LOT: “love your photos, but my dog can’t take nice pictures because they can’t be off leash.”

Here’s a little secret…99% of the dogs you see on my page and website are on a leash so your dog can absolutely be a star! I promise. Safety always comes first and I want your dog to be a dog during their session, I work my magic in post to take your images to the next level.

Meet Potato and Bibi.

These two were friendly, feisty and ready for their close up!

This session was filled with love, laughter, and wagging tails. This sweet family wanted to capture their bond with their two pups, 13-year-old senior Potato and his younger sidekick Bibi, and the love they all share together. A perfect morning celebrating their little family that will be treasured for years to come.

Starting off strong for November with the first peek into our Norway trip!

This was one of two sessions on our very first day of shooting. Husky puppies on a beach with a mountain view AND in a meadow? Ok, I can go home now 😅

Being here in person was very much a pinch me moment after a very long travel day. Waking up in such a beautiful location, dogs running everywhere, camera in hand, and surrounded by so many other talented pet photographers didn’t even seem real. I spent a good amount of time just observing everything and taking it all in, all while taking behind the scenes shots and being a dog handler for other photos.

Here’s just a few from this day, there are much more that I’m excited to share.

Happy Howloween from our little Super Dog Ellie!

She’s usually not one to wear a costume so I know better than to put her in some big contraption—but she loves to rock shirts and apparently capes so Krypto came to mind. I think she nailed it!
