Meet Pluto.

I introduced you to Parker, the amazing posing kitty and wanted to share a few more images from this lovely session at the park with this cute little family.

I mean, Parker is still serving looks in this first shot but Pluto is equally adorable with his happy smile and bandana. Loving the vibrant colors and purple tones coming through of the mountain and flowers that are ever changing throughout the year. I never know what I’m going to get but I think these turned out perfectly.

I just had my first volunteer shoot of the year to capture better portraits of the seniors and longest stays. We braved the chilly morning and had a great session - just look at all these cuties! Update on Eaton Fire Emergency:
We have taken in over 300 animals due to evacuations and have staff and volunteers working nonstop to help with their care. We are starting to see many animals coming in with burns and injuries. These animals are being treated in our ICU. We are providing them with pain medications, wound care, fluid, and oxygen as needed.

We’re working with shelters across the state who have offered to take in the animals that were already in our care so that we can focus on providing resources to the displaced animals. A huge thank you to the shelters throughout California who are offering assistance, as well as all people in our community reaching out to volunteer or donate. Our biggest need right now is for monetary donations to help provide emergency resources to animals affected by the wildfires.

If you are being evacuated and can go somewhere with your pets–such as a friend or family member’s home–that is ideal. If you are evacuating, please take your animals with you. We are very thankful that the Pasadena Civic Center has allowed people to stay with their pets. We are helping in any way that we can–providing them with resources such as food and leashes for the displaced families. We also have pet food available at the shelter for those who need it. If you cannot go somewhere that allows your pet to stay with you, you can bring your animals to the shelter where we are offering emergency boarding.

Our Animal Control Officers have been on the ground helping animals in the community. While they are not going into the active fire areas, we are preparing to get in many injured animals that will need our help in those areas once the fires are cleared. If you find injured wildlife, please text our wildlife helpline at 626.344.1129. If you find any other animal, including dogs and cats, please call Animal Control at 626.792.7151 ext. 970.

Meet Hope.

I met this little lady at the Nevada SPCA Calendar Release Party and discovered that she loves wearing outfits, painting her nails and being a potato. She recently had a few health scares and started having difficulty walking so when her mom asked if we could do a session all about her and capture her in some of her favorite dresses before it's too late I of course said yes.

We had a lot of fun with three outfit changes, hot pink nails, a beautiful setting, and moms matching outfit and hair to let this pretty girl shine in these photos. Isn’t she fabulous?!

Happy New Year🎉

I’ve had quite a few new Followers over the last few months (hello!) so I thought I’d kick off 2025 by introducing myself.

I’m Jess, and I officially launched my pet photography business in May of 2022. I have a BA in Media Arts and have been doing photography since 2013 through my previous corporate job and personal pet projects😏And yes, this is my full time job and I absolutely love what I do.

I specialize in photographing dogs and welcome all pets and their people. I believe they deserve better photos to show off in our homes besides cell phone pics, and this niche service is hard to find for dog parents like myself. I offer a variety of unique, beautiful artwork to fill your walls, frames and shelves that you can’t find just anywhere that I’ve sought out from professional labs that I know my clients will absolutely love.

I’m originally from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!) and moved to Las Vegas in 2004 with my biggest supporter, my husband Mike. You’ll often find him carrying all the heavy things for me whenever I have a booth at pet event and standing in for all of my test shots.

I volunteer regularly at local shelters to get better profile photos of seniors and longest stays to help get them adopted faster because better photos DO make a difference and it’s very important to me to give back to the community by donating my services throughout the year.

In this photo with me is my little sidekick Ellie, short for Eleven. She oversees all of my edits, sits in on client and fellow photographer Zoom calls, and manages my equipment and schedule (which is based around anytime she eats).

When I’m not photographing dogs, you can find me rewatching The Office, Arrested Development or Breaking Bad. I love concerts, traveling to new places and enjoy a good glass of wine (with cheese, of course).

Meet NJ.

I had the opportunity to photograph this teeny tiny kitten named Nugget Jr so of course I took it, and turned it into a Newborn Session. At 20 days old he is the epitome of “Orange Cat Behavior” and also super sweet.

Here’s a cute Christmas themed photo just in time for the holidays, I can’t wait to share the rest of this little guy!🎅😻Happy Caturday
