ADOPT ME PLEASE? 🐈
Look at this kid! Rugby is doing great!! He's learned that he can sleep peacefully on a comfy couch. His fur is growing in so nicely after his shave. His mouth is sooo much better, too, after 2 dentals. He's FINALLY ready for adoption. 🩵
We need a home for him by Sept 18th. It can be adopted or foster-to-adopt but we absolutely MUST HAVE AT LEAST A NEW FOSTER home for him by then. PLEASE? 🙏🙏🙏 Sooner is ok, too! His foster family is going on vacation. It's not his furrever home so we don't want to confuse him by having him go back there when they're back. They've done an AMAZING job getting him from a not so well kid to beautiful and healthy. He was knocking on death's door shortly before going to Ann Waters and family several months ago. We can't thank them enough for all the care for him over the months.
RUGABUG is 10 years young and FIV+. He probably got it from a feral cat fighting him outside before he was saved by us this past spring. FIV is no longer a death sentence. He can live a very long healthy life and not need meds ever. It's a terrible "label". We adopt our FIV+kitties all the time. He can live with other kitties that don't have FIV because he's a lover, not a fighter. Although foster family currently has other kitties, he's kind to two of the three and just occasionally SWATs at one that he's jealous of. I'd be jealous of that kid, too! Glacier is absolutely stunning! 😍 Rugby was not fixed when we saved him AT 10 YEARS OLD! He is now of course. This boy was outside for most likely the majority of his 10 years and had to have been abused and overlooked the entire time until that fateful day when they thought he was dead on their porch and got him inside. He's been through a lot but he's a VERY sweet soul. He just needs someone else to open their heart and home to him. He can be an only child and would really love to be your one and only but doesn't have to. Are you his person? We'd LOVE to hear from you. It's his turn. 💙
