Kitten Doppler went to the sweetest family last night. 😺 Doppler was born inside 36 hours after his very pregnant mama was trapped in downtown Las Vegas late spring. Mama Celestial had 3 babies during a rare big storm, hence the fun names. 😊

Twin sisters Raindrop and Dewdrop are still available. We're hoping they go together in the next couple weeks.

Bindi went to this awesome home yesterday. It's a trial run so the resident kitty can decide if she wants a playmate. 😺 We're absolutely ok with that. We always want it to be the purrfect fit for everyone.

Bindi was saved about 3 months ago from a California breeder who was dumping her here in Vegas for free. We weren't buying the story of why, but didn't care. We knew she could end up in the wrong hands as they were in a hurry to get rid of her. I met them in the mall parking lot. She is the sweetest thing and starved for love. We are ALWAYS full and didn't have room but she was so small so we squeezed her in. Of course we then fully vetted her.

The first vet said she had a heart murmur 3/6. We opted not to get her fixed that day. We then took her to see three other doctors to verify and she was found not to have a heart murmur. It was probably just stress from riding in the car from California to several new places in a couple of days. Until we got her. She ended up going back to the first place to get fixed and they also verified again that she didn't have a heart murmur. It was also confusing and we originally thought maybe that's why they dumped her. But thank God she didn't have one after all. 🙏

A few days ago Max, formerly Million Dollar Pie and Teddy, formerly Peppermint Bark, went to the sweetest couple, Jennifer and Josh. They had been looking for a bonded pair of kitties for quite some time. What's more exciting is that they really wanted one to be orange. These two are clearly not orange but they have picked an orange kitten that we have to join them in a couple days. 🎉 It rarely happens that anyone wants three, but boy are we excited!! Of course we said yes!!! The more the merrier! 🥳

Max and Teddy were saved from a hoarding situation last year by the amazing Lyndsay Lynn . They were adopted last November as kittens, well, they're still kittens at about 11-12 months old now. They were returned two months ago. We wish more people would take a chance on older kittens. Everyone wants them tiny, but there just aren't enough homes for all of the kitties in our Vegas Valley. 💔 PLEASE inquire here if you're looking for a sweet kitty or two. 🙏 We have all ages.

It took a LOT looonger than we expected but congratulations to Amberlie, Charlie and Talula!!! 😍💖🎉

Talula came to us about 6 months ago as an owner surrender. Her mom was REALLY heartbroken to give her up. She had saved her from a breeder in northern California last December. I say saved because the breeder fell on hard times and was going to release them all in the mountains. Grrr. 🤬😤 Talula's former mom head of this and drove to save her. Never knowing that she hated other cats. She loves dogs. So bizarre. Especially as a kitten. 😳 Her former family that saved her reached out for help to rehome her about 6 months ago as she was attacking the resident senior cat. This family also had two dogs that Tulula loved.

Fast forward, we had her in a couple foster homes and she absolutely did not love cats. At all. It was a dangerous situation. Even with her only 5-6lbs. 🥺

Thankfully we found her a home as an only kitty About 4 months ago. This home was STRICTLY a foster home. Or so they thought. 😹 Talula's foster mom n dad went out of town for 3 weeks recently. We had nowhere for Talula as all of our fosters gave kitties of their own. While they were gone, they realized that there was no way they could give her back. Ever. 🎉🎉🎉 We will take losing a foster family to getting an amazing kitty a furrever home. We and her former owners couldn't be happier that she's home furrever. 💝

Save a life. Foster, adopt, volunteer, donate, TNR. We need you. All of you. PLEASE?! 🙏

Another fun (not 🥺) possible dental. This time it's Mickey Mouse's turn. He's bumped to the top of the list. He's been drooling and once it was bloody, last week. 😿

We've had Mickey since 2020. He was saved along with Big Cat, his twin sister Minnie Mouse and 8 others from a parking lot in North Las Vegas. We received a call from a friend of a friend that Amazon had bought the land and they were going to build on it. It's an industrial area and nowhere for kitties to be. They were either lost or most likely dumped there.

At first we were told 5 cats. Ugh. Then because it took 6 loooong months to trap Big Cat (he was the only one already ear tipped). He was no dummy. He did NOT want to go in the trap. We tried everything and then some! Then he finally went in after we tricked him by ziptying the trap open for 10 days before cutting it loose. Bam! Got him. 😁🎉

Meanwhile his 4 buddies were young. They all went in the traps in a few days, Mickey included and got fixed. We couldn't return them so we squeezed them into the already full rescue. 😔

However while we were trying to trap Big Cat, we had chained a steel crate to the one and only tree there. A mom n dad cat and their 4 babies were .6 miles away at the DMV. We couldn't get them, we were maxed out. We hoped someone else would but they were starving and the DMV wouldn't allow people to feed them. That mama cat (we named) Belle and her boyfriend (we named) Donovan must have walked back and forth with their babies in their mouths and tucked them into our steel crate that had food, water and a cubby pet bed. 😳 It was November. It was cold and wet. Boy were we surprised to see them all in it one day!

Fast forward. 2 years ago, his twin sister Minnie Mouse was adopted through our Foster Furrever Program. VERY rarely does anyone want an all black cat. Even though these two were very bonded and brother and sister, we have to take what we can get with adopters. We really thought that. Minnie 's mom would change her mind and take both but that's just never going to happen .

Mickey and his new girlfriend Coconut Dream Pie went to a couple homes about 18 months ago. Unfortunately they both came back after 9 months. Now Coconut has gone backwards and is with an amazing foster Denise. TYTYTY!

Mickey is in need of a HERO adopter. He loves other kitties. And just like that while I was writing this, Dr. Castro checked him out for his probable dental and it's not! Yippie!!! It's just inflammation in his mouth. He said is teeth look good. 🎉🎉🎉 We'll take it! He got an antibiotic shot and he should feel better by tonight. Outstanding mews!! It never goes that way. But this kid is still young. About 5.5 years old I think. I forgot his file today. 🤪

He currently is fostered with another kitty, Whiskers, from the same site. And Whiskers is bonded with Frosty, an all while long haired girl, not from the same trapping area but bonded while my mom was fostering them. Frosty and whiskers were adopted 2 years ago and returned this past New Year's Eve weekend. They were actually dumped at the Henderson shelter and had we not picked them up that day they would have been euthanized for being scared. The adopter forgot that he signed a contract to return them to us. 😤 These 3 all qualify for our Foster Furrever Program. We'd love for them to go together but that's not mandatory. Frosty and Whiskers must stay together though. If you're not familiar with our FFP, please inquire!

Mickey can go to any home. Preferably a quieter one. He's a shy boy who just needs a HERO. It's his turn. He's fully vetted and microchipped. They all are or they can't be adopted. 💕

Been dealing with personal things (all good, just time consuming) but that doesn't mean the rescue is quiet. But, oh do we wish! Time to catch up on some posts.

This was yesterday at Spay and Neuter Center of Southern Nevada which has moved but FB hasn't caught up with the new address yet.

This little guy is Double O Seven. He went in for his snip snip hooray yesterday. 😁

We received a call about 2 weeks ago from a former adopter saying her boyfriend was at work on the southwest side of town at the Sam's Club tire Center and they had a cat. They corralled into the bathroom. They said they called Animal control 5 hours earlier but they didn't show up and they were worried as they were going to be closing soon. I said cat or kitten and they couldn't tell me for sure. Of course I couldn't jump and run but I was able to call Butterbeans Foster who was only about 2 mi away and luckily she had just gotten home from work and could go see and try to save whoever it was. This tire center is in one of the biggest shopping centers in Las Vegas and just off the 215 freeway. This was absolutely no place for a kitty. Turns out it was a 3 and 1/2 month old kitten and is sweet ass pie. Thank goodness! Chi very hungry but by all accounts in good health. Course we mentioned to the people the tire shop that where there is one, There are usually more. They are keeping an eye out but no others have turned up yet. This kid had to be dumped. It happens all day everyday all over town. Absolutely gut-wrenching.

This is one very lucky kitty. I had been saving this name for a long time and because he magically appeared at the tire shop, out of nowhere we thought it was fitting. Fitting. So glad he turned out to be a boy and not a girl or that name wouldn't have worked. 😹

We also may have a foster fail. He's getting along great with resident kitties Butterbean and Pickles. 😺 Butterbean is doing great after his great escape. He's filling out again. Boy was that a scare. He's VERY happy to be home with his brother and so is his family. Whew. 💝

Spa Day!! I mean spay and neuter day for the 8. 😬 Yep. 8. Ugh. They just won't keep coming. All of these were saved over 6 days on Memorial weekend. 4 from an apartment rooftop and 4 from a backyard in Green Valley.

All 8 were named after Neil Diamond song names for my mom's Birthday. 🥳 She's ALWAYS been a N.D. fan and when you've saved 1100 cats and kittens, you start to run out of names. 🤪 Here we have Hello Again, Heartlight, Sweet Caroline, Cracklin' Rosie, America, Brooklyn Road, Cherry Cherry and Beautiful Noise. 🤩 Two are spoken for. Who's going to be the lucky ones to get the other 6?

Marbles did not want to sit still for a photoshoot yesterday. 😺 This very sweet couple had been waiting a while for a kitty. They've always had kitties and their last one passed away to old age a few months ago. They, too, agreed that her pictures don't do her justice. This girl is so beautiful. She has the most unique markings. She's almost like a black and white tabby mixed with a Snowshoe. She is such a stunner! 😍 She's also very sweet and recently lost her home.

Marbles was an owner surrender after her owner became homeless a few months ago. We were really hoping that she would get on our feet and be able to take her back but it just isn't so. 😭💔

Hopefully this is Marbles last stop. Even her last foster family loved her dearly but couldn't adopt her. They are at their pet limit. 😿

We have a Butterbean update! It was a really tough first week-ish. He REALLY didn't like sub-Q fluids. He was getting them twice a day for about 8 days. We took him home and refreshed his mom on sub q. She had done them on another kitty about 10 years ago. Whew. He is happy to be home and back with his brother Pickles. He's eating about 6 small meals a day to rebuild his tummy. At first these two were a bit distant. But just like BB's tummy adjusting to normalcy, so is the bond that these two have had since the day they met as youngsters. They're bonded brothers from different mothers. This is them reuniting day by day this past week. Hooray!! BB is on the mend and will be as handsome as ever again soon.

He doesn't love me. I'm always the bad guy, but not am I thankful that his family battled the brutal Vegas heat and didn't give up trying to catch him. It was 74 days and nights of painstaking searches and setting traps. He was FINALLY hungry enough to go in.

*IMPORTANT LESSON TO ANYONE TRAPPING CATS: NEVER LET A CAT OUT OF A TRAP UNTIL YOU KNOW ITS FIXED!!! I have heard lately of people trapping cats and kittens and letting them out before they're fixed. 😭💔🤬😤 Stop the insanity! Do not trap, if you're going to give up getting them through the spay and neuter process, in a few hours because like this kid, he had been trapped at about 4-5 months old and even though he's 5 years old now and he was literally starving, he refused to go in the traps set, until day 74! He would sniff and walk by them. 99.999% of cats trapped, NEVER go back in one. MAKE SURE THEY'RE FIXED OR DO NOT TRAP!!! NO ONE NEEDS ANYMORE CATS AND KITTENS IN OUR VEGAS VALLEY!! WE HAVE ENOUGH FOR 100 LIFETIMES.

It's truly a miracle but we're fairly certain that our Butterbean will make a full recovery. TYTYTY to everyone for the prayers. And if you have an iPhone, please get your pets an Airtag! They're $20 and it's a GPS tracking device. We have high winds every couple days in Vegas. That's how this kid escaped. A windy night and in less than 5 mins he was gone. Peace of mind for $20. Accidents happen. 😿

Only 2 kitties for shots and chips today and I manage to spill my entire 32oz iced tea. That's a first. 😞

Marbles is going to ameet n greet/trial run tomorrow. We are sure she's going to be so loved. And look at the new nugget we just named Double O Seven. We saved him about a week ago from the Sam's Club tire shop on the 215 fwy & Rainbow. Literally steps from the freeway and adjacent to one of the largest shopping center parking lots in town. As sweet as this baby is, he was probably dumped there. It's a miracle he ended up at a business that one of our previous adopters works. It took several coworkers and two of our fosters to save him in the shop. His life could've ended badly. Of course we're full, but so is every rescue in town. He's going to an awesome new foster right now. And very likely a foster fail. 😺🙏😹

Mama Delana and her 4 babies, Jeep, Wrangler, Chapman and Cherokee are all checked in for surgery. 😺😺😺😺😺

ENORMOUS THANKS to foster Eric for picking them up and taking them today and to Pam C and new foster Leslie M and family for fostering them these last couple months. The babies have one my red shot after this, in 3 weeks but they can go on a foster-to-adopt sooner. After they have recovered from today. 💓

You might remember we saved this family of 5 after the workers discovered them inside a disabled Jeep at Chapman Collision Center back in April. The babies were just days old. Thankfully mama is sweet and they were able to secure all of them in a store closet until rescue was found. *See the last photo I took of them in a tiny box as I arrived to get them that day.

The sweet lady who called us and had a huge hand in saving them is named Delana. So we had to name mama kitty after her. 🩷 Thanks so much Delana and CCC Team!! 💝 Amazing saves! They were all absolutely starving. A couple more hours or days and they probably would've all perished. 😭

Mama also had the worst case of hook worms we have ever seen. They were eating her alive. 💔😰

They're all healthy now and of course dewormed. They've had extra doses. They're the sweetest!! All of them.

These are the lucky ones. So many others are still out on our brutal streets suffering. We need more help. 🙏 🙏🙏

Oh Billy. We're so thankful that you're doing so much better!

We received a call 2 nights ago that one of our Foster Furrever kitties, Wild Bill, hadn't eaten in a couple days. 💔 He's only about 4.5 years old.

He, along with his sister Mama Wyoming and her baby boy Mustang went to their furrever home about a year ago. It was a rare miracle home for 3 super shy kitties we saved in 2020, as babies, from Wyoming.

Some who follow us and know their background will remember them. They showed up a few days before some family friends of the rescue were moving back to Vegas that Sept.

It was 34° in Wyoming that September day when they left and drove here, where it was 115°. I'll never forget it. We were in the middle of our biggest event of the year and they showed up with 13 cats and kittens instead of 5 we werre expecting and 8 days early.

Billy and sis were about 8-9 mo old and there were several others and her kittens. 🤯 No, we don't need extra cats and kittens in Las Vegas, then or now, but they would have starved and been eaten by wildlife if they weren't brought to us. Of course we said yes. They were and still are sweet kitties who wouldn't hurt a fly. Just shy. They turned up in the middle of nowhere, in Montana, at the right time. Two weeks before the family was moving back here. Whew.

It took a VERY long time and several foster families to assure them that they were ok. It seemed as though every single time they were starting to make progress with a foster, they had to be moved to a new one. 😞

These three sweet, docile kitties, depend on each other for security. We couldn't and wouldn't split them up. We are still beyond ecstatic that the sweetest couple picked them last year! TYTYTY Bob n Lynn!!! Heaven sent!

Bob n Lynn have worked with them daily to assure them no one will hurt them and that they are soooo loved. It took several months, maybe 6, for them to feel safe. Since then they're petting and kissing them on the heads, daily. Mama is still hesitant but so loved. 💕

As soon as I heard WB wasn't eating, I suspected a dental was needed. Then yesterday, mom found a tooth in the water bowl. 😳

Fast forward to this morning. I picked WB up. His new name is Geppetto 😊 I took him for a checkup and probable dental. At the checkup, his mouth was a wreck. We checked him in. Turns out he needed 16 teeth removed 😿 AND the tooth found in the water bowl didn't belong to him. 🙀 It must belong to his sister Mama Wyoming or her baby, Mustang. 🥺 At least the other two are eating well. 🙏

I can't thank his mom n dad enough for caring for three shy and scared kitties that just needed a HERO. If all kitties could be so lucky. We have so many like them. They wouldn't survive a single day outside. So much like Butterbean that almost died recently after being lost unexpectedly for 74 days. He's on the mend thankfully, too.

We need more FOSTERS, adopters and kitty HERO's. Please? 🙏 Thanks a million to Bob n Lynn for helping us with half of WB's dental! 😭😍🙏💝 We ❤️ you!!! And had NAH not had the dental special, it would've been almost $1400 instead of 628.88.

It was a very busy day yesterday. This also happened. FINALLY Tagliatelle was picked! 🎉 He has the best mom and big kitty sister (not pictured). One of his two new human sister's (pictured here) Summer is off to Japan in a couple days. We say thank you for your service to her and her husband who will be there for 2 years. 🇺🇲 Safe journey. 🙏 We appreciate you!

Thank you also to new foster Shannon not only for fostering Tag, his mom Pretty Girl and sis Bucatini, but fpr referring Kim to adopt our sweet baby boy. 💝

Tag, his mom and 3 siblings are saved by our dear friend to the rescue Jan Everhart . She didn't give up looking for Pretty Girls babies when she turned up in her backyard and one day was big and days later was really skinny. After several days of walking her neighborhood she found the babies in a wood pile. It was already hot, this girl was malnourished and her lookalike baby had already passed away. Thankfully the rest were saved in time. This bunch has had so many foster families in the last few months. It takes a village to save even just one but TYTYTY to Jan, Linda Taylor-Hunt , Lucy and family, Lauren S and family, Kaylan Franca , and Shannon for fostering this little family. We appreciate each and every one of you!! Just mom and Bucatini are left and still looking for their furrever family.

A lot has been happening in the rescue. When it's silent about cats, that means we're in overdrive and cats come first, before posts.

Yesterday Smoochie (black and white) was finally able to join his bonded brother Alfie (brown Maine C**n) with his new mom and dad in New Hampshire. 🎉🎉🎉 Alfie was able to hitch a ride with our dear friend of the rescue, Ashlyn, the day before the world wide meltdown on July 19th (July 18th). Whew! The one that affected Delta Airlines the most. Delta has a program called DART. Delta Airlines Rescue Transit. You may remember that Ashlyn delivered another one of our kitty's, Simon, to his new home in Seattle a few months ago. 🥳

This transport came about when our fosters Dvora and Golan had to make the gut-wrenching decision to move to Israel and rehome their babies that they'd had since they were about 6 weeks old. Yes, Israel. And during a war, too. 😰💔

We put out a plea a few months ago for a new home for the boys, together and the most amazing woman Bernadette stepped up. 😭😍🙏💝 We never imagined that their new home would be in New Hampshire but she said yes to the boys and it was full speed ahead on getting them ready to fly across the country. They got updated shots at Spay and Neuter, then we needed a foster to house them until a flight could be arranged. TYTYTY Pam C. You ALWAYS step up and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💕

Then it was off to Inspirada on July 13th with 4 others, never a dull moment in rescue, to get their Health Certificates to fly. It took a village to pull this all together and over three plus months. 😳

ENORMOUS THANKS to Breta with DART, flight attendants Ashlyn and Marseya for transporting the boys on separate days. It was impossible to get them on a flight together during the summer and with airlines' 'payload'. I've learned a lot about flying lately and I've been all over the world.

ENORMOUS THANKS to foster Pam C for taking the boys for shots and housing them since July 10th. TYTYTY to her BF Anthony for taking care of them while Pam and I were out of town in the last couple weeks. Aof course to the AMAZING Bernadette and hubby (ugh I'll add his name here shortly 😞) for opening your heart and home to two very special boys who needed a HERO. 🙏🙏🙏

Alfie was extremely stressed and confused after losing the only home he'd known, but he's made huge strides since arriving in New Hampshire. Both boys flew from Vegas to Boston then it was about an hours drive to New Hampshire.

Smoochie just arrived last night. They both did great on the flights and Smoochie is decompressing and back with his brother. 🥳 He was very happy to get out of the bathroom.

We do what we can to save who we can. This double rescue was unexpected but we will go to great lengths to save, rehabilitate and rehome kitties. This was certainly a big undertaking and we tried so hard to keep them with their original family. It just couldn't happen. 😿

We are so excited these boys have an amazing family who is already loving them and that we will get many happy updates. We can't wait to see them experience seeing snow and squirrels out the windows in the coming months. 😺😺 Bernadette you're amazing! We're so thankful for you and can't believe you saw our post all the way on the other side of the U.S. How amazing is that?! 😀 And the timing!! It was certainly meant to be. Happy life Alfie and Smoochie. We love you. 💝

Looks like we have a Foster Furrever meet n greet this weekend! 🙏🎉 ------------------------ Who remembers Brandi who was super pregnant 3 months ago? Well, she had 4 babies. Unfortunately, two passed away within 36 hours. Fading kitten syndrome. 💔 Her two remaining babies are very healthy and doing great! We are in need of a foster for her now and we renamed her Brandicakes because her first two kittens we saved at the time of this video we named Birthday Cake and Carrot Cake. 😹 (They were adopted already). 💕 Brandicakes was fixed 3 days ago. She's recovering well and we're in desperate need of an adopter, foster-to-adopter, FOSTER or Foster Furrever home for her ASAP. PLEASE? 🙏 She's not feral, just confused and shy. She was allowing petting on the streets AND for the two weeks before her last babies were born. Then she became a protective mom (as expected). Now she's just confused, as she is no longer with her babies. 😞 She had to get fixed. She is kitty friendly, healthy and can be adopted this week. We are looking for a HERO for her that will understand she needs TLC and a quieter home where she can continue to blossom. Kitten Pudding Pie was picked for a furrever home for delivery tomorrow. Then they unfortunately cancelled. 😿 Here he is playing at his foster's home today. I'll add still pictures in the comments. He's kitty friendly and MUST have a kitty friend at the new home or be adopted with another one of our kittens. We split him and his brother up for this home that cancelled. His brother Tinsel was picked moments after he was, so now they can't stay together.
