We saved Amore about a month ago. This video was taken two days after we saved her. We named her Amore because she's sooo starved for love and almost starved to death. Plus it's almost Valentine's Day. And after nearly 1200 kitties saved in just over 8 years, we are running out of unique names. 😊
Considering the condition we found her in, living in a cement drain at the base of Black Mountain, freezing in the dead of winter 🥶😰 she is such a doll and so forgiving of whoever lost or dumped her. She is so happy to be safe, inside, warm and fed. She's doing spectacularly in her foster home. Her foster is a school teacher and has had to keep her in one room because she's so outgoing but she's scared the resident kitties. 😔
We would LOVE to get Amore into a furrever home or even a foster-to-adopt home ASAP. She's such a love. She is fully vetted, healthy and gaining weight. Her fur is growing back slowly. She almost looks like a cartoon character with her lion shave. 😁
Amore hasn't met any kids through us in her short time her but we think that she would do great with everyone and even a pup, too. We can try any of these. Can you help? Please help us find her a furrever home. She definitely deserves it after a tough life outside for so long. PLEASE?

Ohhhh happy day!!! 13 months in the making!! Well, actually 2.5 years in the making. 3.5 year old Dakota is FINALLY being pet by her Foster Furrever Mom Ellen Colella !!
The amazing trapper extraordinaire Lyndsay Lynn saved Dakota from the streets a couple years ago. Her first foster Mom Kaylan F. and Dad Jalles were petting her initially at about a year old, then for some crazy reason she went backwards with socializing. 😞
We never give up but we didn't have anyone to work with her except me, and we all know my 17 hour days, 7 days a week rescue schedule doesn't help. She was safe, inside, fed (WELL 😁) and loved and then in Dec of '23 Ellen met our girl and fell madly in love with her. Knowing that she wasn't being pet, Ellen said "Oh, don't you worry! I'll be petting her soon!" Low and behold we both pet her the day she was delivered to Ellen and her husband Alan that Dec day. 😍 Then she again went backwards. Sigh.
Alan and Ellen talk to her all day everyday and well, look at this! About a month ago, after a year at their home, she has blossomed to... on the bed, then the couch and now petting!! 🥳 Hooray!! Oh Happy day!! 🎉🎉🎉 And this is with a loud parrot 🦜 in the home with her! 🤩
So many sweet souls are suffering outside. We knew that Dakota wasn't born outside and we wish we knew what she endured before and during her time on the streets. She is a petite girl who wouldn't have lasted much longer outside.
We can't save them all as much as we wish we could. There are just too many. But when they have indoor homes, then get dumped or lost outside, they don't know how to survive. This was our Dakota. We are thrilled at her progress and the neverending love of her Mom n Dad. We have many Foster Furrever Families. Some have had breakthroughs and some are on the cusp. Another cute video of Capri 🩷 she's approximately 18 months old, fully vetted, healthy and microchipped. When we saved our last spring, she was limping. After x-rays determined it was an old break from when she was a kitten, and her curly ear probably happened from crawling into a car engine to stay warm at the tire shop in downtown Las Vegas where she was found. She does not need medication and her leg did not need to be rebroken and set. Our amazing that said it had healed and she's now no longer limping. She's had a great diet to help her get strong and she's been living her best life with one of our amazing fosters. 🥳 TYTYTY Lauren S.!
Capri is looking for her furrever home. She will eat liquid treats that are being handheld by a human but we're hoping she will allow pets soon. We've been going slow to gain her trust. This is why she qualifies for our Foster Furrever Program. She also can be adopted by anyone or we also have the foster-to-adopt program. She is a young sweet girl, a tad shy when she first met meet you. But as you can see she has blossomed so much in this home with kids. Lauren's daughter is a kitty whisperer and was petting her at one point. Then something spooked her and she went backwards. This video and another one we shared yesterday just shows how far she's come in 9 months. We don't know how she ended up at that tire shop but it was no place for a kitty and of course she couldn't be returned there when found. She was already fixed with no sign of ownership.
We are looking for a place for this petite girl in the next couple weeks. Is it you? Lauren and family have done a spectacular job getting her ready for her next and hopefully last home. 💟 Please consider this girl especially if you have a quiet home with lots of TLC so she can finally become the loveable kitty we're sure she once was before she was lost and hurt her leg. She's made huge strides after rescuing her around 9 mo ago from a tire shop in downtown Las Vegas. She's a VERY good girl. Loves to sleep on pillows and plays with toys. She tolerates other kitties but we know she likes kittens. We would love to get her a kittens and both a home ASAP. 🙏 It's her turn. 🩷

UPDATE #2: UGH. We had what we thought was the perfect home for this kid. It sounded purrfect. No other kitties. No other pets. A loving home for our FIV+ kid. I even got a second application on him and turned it down because the original application came referred by one of our dear friends to the rescue and we wanted to honor that even though we were going to be delayed and taking him a few days. A few days turned into 10 days and they canceled. Of course we called the second application immediately and even though they've not gotten another kitty yet it might not happen. We are crushed for this kid. We don't have a place for him. I had said many times before we took him in that we didn't have room. So here we are now. Can anyone please please please foster this sweet boy? 🙏🙏🙏🙏

URGENT! FOSTER NEEDED TONIGHT!! 🙏🙏🙏
This is FIV+ Henry that we saved yesterday. His finder had done all she could and was going to call animal control to come get him yesterday because she couldn't get him in a cat carrier two weeks ago to go to another rescue. Then after I dropped off a large pet carrier a week ago and some Cannabalm and Cannanaturals (powder) to get him in it, he wouldn't go bear the carrier and was injured and in pain. He absolutely would've been euthanized bc of his fear of carriers. He was trapped early summer and tnr'd but had an abscess (we assume on his hurt foot??) and was probably traumatized by a carrier when he was lost or dumped and found his way to that home in April of this year.

This long haired Tortie girl loving on her is our kid Sassafras, AKA Sassy. Linda so kindly signed up to foster her for us through our Foster Furrever Program 2 years and 2 months ago because Sassy had been bounced around and went backwards. 😿 We weren't petting her at the time. We couldn't but we had 2 years prior. We didn't have a place for her. There aren't a lot of homes or places for kitties like her. Everyone wants a tiny kitten they can pick up and put next to their face. But what about the others that don't belong outside. The ones that wouldn't hurt a fly and are good kitties, but we can't pet them easily? 🥺 So we created this program for seniors for these kitties that are typically over the age of 3 years old and have a quiet home and extra love to give. 💝
We knew that Sassy was good with other cats and we had high hopes that resident kitty Blaze would love her and vice versa. It was almost instant chemistry. These two are two peas in a pod. The play daily and absolutely love each other. We have been sooo thankful to Linda for giving her a home with love and knowing that she may never pet her and then one day recently..... Bam! Sassafras turned into an absolute love bug! 😍
Sometimes it takes a few days. Sometimes it takes a few months and sometimes, it's years. We don't know what these cats have been through before they needed saved, usually from our brutal streets. What we do know is that, with a quiet home, patience and TLC, they can and will 'turn' sweet. For our Sassy, it was 2 years and suddenly, out of nowhere, she went from sleeping on the bed and couch near Linda, to mauling her for love! ALL THE TIME!!! 🎉🎉
We're all thrilled!!! How amazing is this!?! And just in time for Linda's hand surgery. 😁 Now she's trying to pet two cats with one hand. 😹 Funny, not funny, but we're soooo happy that Sassy finally
Brunch today. Meal #2. She gets 4 small approximately 1 oz meals today. She's been resting in between. All kitties that are outside hardly sleep because every single sound they hear scares them. They're always on guard. 😢 It's heartbreaking to know that so many others are outside suffering right this minute and they may never get found, helped or saved. Be kind to kitties and all outside creatures. They didn't ask to be born. Kitties and other furries can survive a long time on water or even be brought back to life with goats milk. NEVER cows milk! That's a myth! Cow's milk can kill cats or make them very very sick. 😿
