Yesterday was an incredible sad day for our family. We laid you to rest we all know your with your grandparents and your older brother so it brings us a little solace.

We also added a cross filled with my grandma’s ashes so she can be with you and her parents.

Derek goodbyes are not forever and they are not the end. It simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again.

Our family has suffered a tragic and devastating loss nothing prepares you for a loss of this in this manner.

Derek was the victim of a senseless murder / homicide in Goldfield NV by a deranged gun man.

😇Derek 🕊️ was a Father , a Son , a Brother , an Uncle and one of my mom Cousins.

He was also a hard working man who was a huge dog loving person.
He was was a great Tow-Truck Driver / Owner and he also worked with the Fire Department as a Volunteer in Goldfield Nv too. He was not perfect but he didn’t deserve to have his life taken this way. Leaving his family behind with all these nightmares and uncertainty is not how he would have expected it to go.

If you can Share or even Donate Anything to our / his family it helps immensely and I’d greatly appreciate it forever 💋🙏

Seeing this display of Love and Respect for our beloved Derek was both a Beautiful and Sombering event. You never expect this type of thing to be for a family member but I’m so proud of him and for the dedication from Tow Truck Community.
