At Healing Reins, our mission is “to assist individuals with special needs in meeting their full potential through interaction with horses”. Through equine-assisted services, we help enhance participants physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially. These services build balance & coordination, flexibility, core muscle strength, sequencing, speech and communication, self-esteem and self-confi

dence. Your tax-deductible donation will fund the tools needed to provide a safe and effective environment for our services. This Includes equine care, facility fees, adaptive equipment, certified instructors and other costs associated with this program. Join us for a day celebrating our local heroes!

Healing Reins has teamed up with local agencies and nonprofits to host Horses for Heroes, a day of appreciation for First Responders, Law Enforcement, Veterans and their families.

These heroes are invited to a day at the farm for family fun from 12 PM - 4 PM on Saturday, November 9th at Rolling Hills Equestrian Center located at 7088 Old Corydon Road.

The event will provide support through a fun, family friendly event offering a resource fair, food, horses, and children’s activities.

If you would like to get involved, we are accepting donations of gift cards, monetary donations, and letters of appreciation for those who will attend. Thank a firefighter, police officer, EMT or veteran—cards can be sent to PO Box 2027, Henderson, KY 42419 until November 8. This is the biggest annual fundraiser for Healing Reins and we are in awe of the support we received!
