Taking care of a new big baby. Not even 3 yet.
Sorry I look like crazy uncle eddy but we are fully operational again. We have been working and shoeing but it to our normal amount because of the trailer being down and trying to find time to put it back together right and not just half a## it.
A horse from Thursday that has a hard time bringing his leg underneath him. He needs shoes and wedged to help with navicular so we decided to shoe a little unconventional. I’d rather be in a weird and uncomfortable position and make sure my horses have what they need than not.
This is the same horse’s hind left. When I knife at the toe you will see some red. That is just bruising from all the stretching of the laminae and foot and nothing to worry about. I am also comfortable putting this horse on his sole by taking so much toe because the sole was already on the ground and the toe tilted up so I am not worried about soreness from that. He walked off very happy.
