🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

We're thrilled to announce that our brand-new location at 208 Chadwick Ave. will officially be open to the public on Monday, August 19! 🎉🐾

Our team will be working hard next week to move and prepare our new home for all of you, so we will close at noon on Wednesday, August 14, and fully close on the 15th and 16th. But don’t worry—starting August 19, all appointments will be seen at our shiny, state-of-the-art facility. See below for an outline of next week's schedule.

This photo depicts one of the reasons we recommend checking for intestinal parasites annually and keeping your furry family members current on their monthly preventatives. Often times we cannot see these nasty creatures with the naked eye; so if you don’t see them, it doesn’t always mean they aren’t present. This magnified image shows a plethora of whipworm eggs!

We have a lot going on at Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital! Please welcome our newest addition to our wonderful team of doctors, Dr. Erica Kelly.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Erica Kelly pursued her undergraduate degree in Animal Ecology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Iowa State University. Since the age of 5, Dr. Kelly has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and she is thrilled to begin her career by joining the team at Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital. With a passion for all aspects of small animal medicine and a keen interest in both internal and preventative medicine, Dr. Kelly hopes to be a trusted resource for all her clients' questions and concerns. She is committed to diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions in pets to ensure they lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Kelly enjoys various outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and snowboarding. She also likes exploring breweries and spending quality time with friends and family playing board games and card games. At home, Dr. Kelly cherishes the companionship of her Border Collie, Luka, who has been her loyal companion throughout her schooling.

We can’t wait for all of you to meet her as she begins her career with us. She is taking new patients starting July 1st!

Veterinary medicine isn’t always full of cuteness and cuddles, but today, at Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital, there is plenty to go around. Four of these babies were found at a job site and our team is having a fun time taking care of them. Luckily, we think all of them have homes already!

Working downstairs in this office can get lonely, but not today! Bayonet, one of our team members pets, kept Amy company while she was trying to plan out some of the details of our upcoming move. She is sweet and full of energy and kisses.

What is that we see??….looks like a parking lot that can accommodate everyone! If you have been to our current location during a busy part of the day, you know the frustration of trying to get in, find a spot, and get out! We are encouraged that this will no longer be an issue.

We couldn’t get enough of Titus and Scout while they were here today. Mom shared some of her pictures with us, too! We are so glad she is trusting us with their care. We can’t wait to see them again.

Imagine this little guy crawling around in your ear! Ear mites are extremely uncomfortable and can be painful, especially if the ears become inflamed. They are more common in cats, but dogs can also get them. Just another reason why it is important to maintain monthly prevatives.
