Thank you to everyone who donated to Stacy. ❤️ She appreciates the help even though she's too strong to ask for it! This shared video of her area shows her house on the left with the black roof and white horse barn off to the back left at about 1 minute and 35 seconds in. It's crazy the amount of water that area saw so fast! Most of us were so lucky. We had lots of damage but survived! So many were not as lucky, and it breaks my heart. It will be years before WNC moves on and life is normal again for so many. We all need to keep supporting our local businesses and neighbors in any way we can.

Our driveway is cleared and power restored. Woo-hoo!!! Today I went to visit Stacy. As I got closer to her house the serious destruction of the flooding was evident. I almost lost it in her driveway with her telling me don't you cry! It's a running joke between us because she is a crier and a hugger and I am neither! I held it together but did hug her. My woods are nothing compared to what she's cleaning up. The loss of everything on her first floor 4 ft up is devastating. She saved all her farm animals plus 4 dogs. Then her and Adam were rescuing neighbors in his fishing boat! That girl is strong willed and amazing. This is her second disaster. She lost her first home in a fire. My daughter tipped me off to her Gofundme page a few days ago. Do you think she mentioned it to me today??? I don't know her reasoning but I do know she needs help! So many of you have asked how we are doing and I'm so thankful for that. Stacy needs the most help! A neighbor started it for her so there's only one picture but it's really devastating. She's to proud to ask but any help would be wonderful for her. Somebody donated a fridge and her son brought over a microwave. I brought over chicken salad today and she woofed it down. Tomorrow I'm making her a breakfast casserole, soup and my favorite tater tot casserole. They have been living off take out that people drop off. My mission is to get some normalcy and good food in that girl's life because she will work till she drops. Her Gofundme is under Stacy Calvert.

Casanova's Creekside Cabin is available the month of July if anyone is interested. It's a little under 3 hours from here. A great getaway and 20 minutes from Blue Ridge GA. Due to our county laws, we had to list it as a 31-day rental. Otherwise, we would have to pay 5% to the county. We are 10 minutes away from Blue Ridge Lake boat ramp which is pretty much vacant. It's Casanova's favorite place to hang out and run free. Let me know any dates you're interested in. Just send me a text message.

I have a new respect for groomers and their passion! Lucy looks whiter, 10 pounds lighter, and 5 years younger. She left Wednesday and every morning since her hair balls magically appear on the floor and my desk. 🤣

My two new foster girls. Gypsy in front and Rosie behind. Not sure of the exact story but they came from a breeder in SC. 135 small breed pups in need of a home. My rescue Small But Mighty took 26 and I got these two sweeties. Alyssa groomed both of them today and what a difference. She's been Casanova's groomer for 7 years and now I'm lucky to have her here. If anyone is interested in exit baths or nail trims going forward just let me know.

Poor Harry was kicked out of 3 grooming places. I told Mom if anyone could do it, Alyssa could! Her calm demeanor and sweet personality puts all the dogs at ease. So far there hasn't been one she couldn't handle yet. Way to go Harry. We are so proud of you!
