TIPS TO PLACE YOUR PUPS
I know a lot are struggling to find homes for their babies right now so I’ve decided to share some helpful hints.

1. Take good photos. You don’t need a professional camera. You do need good lighting and a clean non-cluttered background. Take photos beside an open window or outdoors. This will help people see true colors and features. Photograph all sides and angles. Grab some video while you’re at it.
2. Post on social media as often as possible. The more often you pop up, the more likely someone is to fall in love with your babies.
3. Have a website. This does so many things for you. Most fly-by-night breeders and puppy mills won’t have a website so you look more legit. It also provides SEO which brings you up in Google searches.
4. Know your pups DNA. Are they health panel clear? Do you know what color they truly are? Do they carry any other color or traits? If you don’t know these things, you should have them tested so you can provide that info to potential buyers.
5. Post in ALL the groups. You more than likely won’t be able to post a caption anymore (FB crackdown) so maybe add your info on the photo. But you need to get those babies seen as much as possible.
6. Use website like puppies . com or A K C ads if you need to.
7. Don’t drop your price tags too low. People love a good deal but a super low price can make you look like a scammer or that you’re not providing a quality pup.
8. Offer FaceTime. Seeing you, your set-up, and the puppies in real time is extremely helpful for someone making a decision on a new family member.
9. Have references ready. Vets, past puppy buyers, breeder friends… anything that can help people gain trust is HUGE!
10. Have a contract! This protects you AND your buyer.
11. If you have a litter that isn’t selling, don’t breed again until you find them homes. Do you really want to get stuck with multiple litters that aren’t selling?
