My name is Alex Rodriguez, I am located in middle Tennessee just north of Nashville on 5 acres of land. I've been showing and working with Rottweilers since I was about 9yrs old. Over the years I've had the opportunity to train and learn from top German Rottweiler breeders and other trainers. My passion and dedication to this breed has taken me to different parts of the world, meeting famous Germa

n and international Rottweiler breeders. Over the years I've become one of the top USA German-style kennels with many champion rottweilers. My goal in breeding is not for profit but to find my next competition dog. I breed Rottweilers by some of the highest standards; not because I'm made to, but because I feel it's the only way to achieve the best Rottweiler. Years ago I set a goal for myself that I would give it my best to make on the adrk helper team.
if in 3 tries I don’t make it, then at least gave it my all. What an incredible journey it’s been! Thousands of miles in flights ✈️ many friendships and teammates

As an American making your foot print in another country especially Germany 🇩🇪 where it’s known to have some of the best IGP organizations in the world. Didn’t seem possible. Well it’s possible !!!!

Well I traveled over to Maryland this past weekend. Something I’ve been looking forward for a long time. Thank for DVG KG north putting on an excellent helper seminar. Great group of helpers ! Got to meet alot of new people in the sport . Midnite Canine Mark Torrence for his world class coaching and helper abilities. Johan for giving more insight how to achieve my ultimate goal which is work national events. I haven’t been active with any USA IGP organization in a very long time and I as my helper career overseas starts to slow down I wanted something to look forward too here in the USA 🇺🇸. Do yourself a favor if this club host an event support it , it’s worth the trip. That being said I got my DVG regional helper certification and was awarded 1s and 2s for an event they have coming up. I’m honored and will be ready to give it my best when duty calls. I’m looking to be more active with IGP clubs if you’re needing a helper with my type of background

Thanks to all those that have checked on me and my dogs ! Our city of Hendersonville Tennessee got hit last night with tornados . I was in one of the buildings got hit, super blessed cause it has a tornado shelter built in. Came outside and it was like a scene 🎬 of twister. I’m thankful it happened to me while I was at the gym cause I don’t have a tornado shelter at home. GOD was looking out. Blessed

2023 USRC IGP National! Here’s some shots of the catches. I worked the back half igp 3. I had been working all year to get back to a championship level. As a National level helper it’s very important to stay healthy strong in order to be a safe helper. I have huge goals for 2024 hoping to get a try out spot here in the USA and Germany 🇩🇪

People talk about the reason they don’t go to Rottweiler shows is because of the people or it’s political, I don’t get it at all. I call BS! 20 plus years showing and working Rottweilers I’ve had the pleasure to see newbies becomes pros! I’ve seen families grow. Breeding programs bloom into USA powerhouses. When I show and compete nothing in me has ever been me against the person. It’s quite the opposite. I’m beyond happy and proud of the people that have reached these phenomenal Rottweiler goals. This weekend was one of those USA milestones. V1 programs with Tommy Hudson! Boban Franeta! Aaron Tabor! Dave Caggiano! Jimmy Villegas! People that for years have hit thousand miles on the road. Countless hours of work. You don’t learn sitting at home! You can’t breed Rottweilers via Facebook! Social media has made it so easy for anyone even my grandma 👵🏻 now can be a Rottweiler breeder from the confort of her retirement home.

You want to get on this level. Hit the road participate with your breedings, don’t let the people or politics keep you from actually enjoying the Rottweiler. Along the way you’ll have a beautiful story line meeting like minded people sharing one passion. I might not agree with placements or type of dog these competitors own, but I respect hard work and dedication towards their goals. Congratulations!!!

Hasko litter! 3 weeks old. 7 males 2 females. First time playing with the new playpen. I keep a play pen in the kitchen area. Helps me keep on an eye on them but what I’ve noticed their social interaction start to really in-print at a very young age. So from day 1 they are always in a home social environment.

Umbro iz tverskogo domo !!!!! We have had Umbro since last years thanks to my great friends Gerard and Ia Oshea. We Finally we have a new litter of 9 puppies to Umbro. This is just a little preview of Umbro. He’s a strong big powerful male. Is he an iGP champion no ! But can definitely take on pressure and brings a lot of qualities the USA program is missing. He’s gonna be my training buddy to get me ready to move big Rottweilers next year ! Young future stud! Yoshi von der Rod. Yoshi is a Hasko von Kronenberg x Oxhanna vd Rod son. First I’d like to thank Brian Delgrosso (Oxhanna co owner) without his dedication and support of Vdr Rottweilers this young male wouldn’t had been possible. Yoshi’s pedigree has some of the last 10 years with super cool and elite studs of the ADRK. Oxhanna is a Vitus vom hause Neubrand daughter. Yoshi brings also old time favorites Duke von der Sherau, Elvis vom hause Rosenberg, Tonka vd Rod (Jinn von hause Neubrand daughter) with foundation bitch Dascha vom Bochrahmer (Ives vom hause Ñeubrand daughter). This male should bring lots of value to our future program with dark mouth, dark eyes, super bone, and a Rottweiler typical head. Not mastiff or bulldog but Rottweiler. Above all so far healthy, calm, attentive, on and off drive, suspicious’ but with lots of confidence. There’s still hope keep the total Rottweiler alive!
