Update: our reopen date is Monday, March 25th. We have escaped any major damage and are completing the drying and cleaning. We look forward to being there for your pets!!

Unfortunately, we had a waterline break over the weekend and experienced flooding… Again 😮‍💨 Fortunately, the damage is nowhere near as extensive as last time. The clinic will be closed today Monday, March 18 through Thursday, March 21 for Servpro to dry it out. Please check our Facebook, email or the clinic voicemail for further updates. we are sorry for any inconvenience and as always we thank you for your love and support.

Here at Indian Lake Animal Clinic, 2023 was a year filled with many challenges and triumphs. Rebuilding from our flood damage while still trying to provide care for our patients and employees was difficult, but very rewarding. We’re grateful to have that experience in our past, and to have had the wonderful support of our ILAC family throughout.

In moving forward, we have analyzed our schedule in combination with market trends and staff-work life balance and have decided to make some changes.

As of February 1, we will extend Wednesday hours and open our surgery scheduled for five days a week. In exchange, we will be closing on Saturdays.

Monday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Saturdays and Sundays closed

Update - we have basic power restored but none of our other support services yet.

Friends, we are experiencing a power outage like most of Hendersonville. It's unlikely to be fixed quickly, and we can't function safely without power.

Our plan is to make a judgment call each morning by 7:00 am as to whether we can be open or not. We will update the message on our voicemail each day, so please call before leaving your house to be certain we are there.

Please know that as soon as we are able to be there to help your pets, we will be. We hope all of you were able to stay safe, and we are keeping our hearts focused on helping those in need in our community.

An update, friends - we have more illness, some of which is COVID. For this reason, we've made the difficult decision to choose down until the Tuesday after Labor Day, September 5th.

Our decision is made to protect each other and to protect you - we don't want to spread any illness to you, each other, or to family members who may be more vulnerable.

You may leave messages on the clinic phone (615-824-6700) for prescription refills. It will be checked a minimum of once every 48 hours, and we will call with instructions about how to pick up medications. Please do not leave messages asking for callbacks on medical issues or to make appointments.

Update! You came through for us 😊 We love our family. Thank you!!

ILAC family - we need a favor 🙂 This cutie was turned into us as a stray. She was microchipped, and we were able to trace her and find out that she was adopted from Nashville Humane Society, then given away, then abandoned 😥

Nashville Humane is willing and ready to take her back in, but we need transport and have a full schedule today for our staff. Is there anyone out there who could drive her to Nashville Humane this morning? They need us to be there before noon if she's coming today.

Any help would be much appreciated!!
