I lost $1000 between 12/1 and 1/15. I did the math.. I was closed for 1.5wks for the holidays…

Going forward there will be a $25 fee attached to the next appointment.. if it happens twice it will be a full groom fee on top of the next appointment. Three times and you can find another groomer with a more flexible schedule.

I get that life happens… you wake up sick, sick children, emergencies pop up. This isn’t directed at those late cancellations.

Please do your best to give 48hrs notice otherwise I will have to apply this fee

Henniker folks. This is a terrible pic but this pup was wandering around behind the performing arts building at NEC, on Flanders, Gulf, and Depot Hill. She never let me getting close enough to put a leash on her. Probably about 35-35 lb. Just an FYi if anyone knows who she belongs to.

It has come to my attention there are a few mistruths being spread so I thought I’d shed some light…

What is Lyme disease in dogs?
Lyme disease has been diagnosed in both dogs and people across all states, however, infection rates vary from one state to another. In the US, the Upper Midwest, Pacific Coast and Northeast regions of the United States report the highest number of cases of Lyme disease in dogs.

Dogs contract Lyme disease through the bite of an infected tick. Ticks, including those carrying Lyme, are most often found in wooded and grassy areas including farm fields and forests.

Ticks don't fly or jump, they find their prey by resting on the tips of grasses, shrubs, and leaves with their front legs outstretched waiting for direct contact with animals or people. As your pup brushes past, the tick simply grabs hold and latches on to your pet.

Lyme disease is not contagious between dogs, or dogs and people, however, an infected tick from one dog could make its way to another dog or a person, spreading the disease.

Due to the contagiousness and severity of the current respiratory virus that is spreading throughout dogdom I am begging my clients to please refrain from using doggy daycare or boarding or dog parks for at least a week prior to a grooming appointment.

Please, if your dog shows any sign of illness please keep them home.. this includes sneezing, coughing, runny nose or runny eyes

With everyone’s cooperation we can get through this safely.

It will take everyone doing the right thing for this virus to become a thing of the past

Dear Clients,
We have recently become aware of a canine upper respiratory outbreak in surrounding areas and want to make our clients aware.
"Kennel cough" outbreaks can happen from time to time, but most dogs are perfectly fine after a course of antibiotics. Based on current reports, this “kennel cough” seems to be more serious, with some dogs requiring hospitalization. Dogs who have been vaccinated for canine influenza and bordatella (kennel cough) have been showing symptoms, so we don’t believe it is either of those, although this could be a new strain. Statistics have not been shared but some deaths have occurred. As of right now, there is no definitive diagnosis.
We share this information with you not to cause panic but keep you aware and informed. Please know that we have seen cases with these symptoms with some patients. We have been in contact with other hospitals in the area as well as the state vet to get as much information as we can to help the patients with these symptoms.
If your dog is experiencing coughing, runny nose or eyes, sneezing, difficulty breathing or lethargy, please give us a call at 603-428-3441 to discuss.
If you have an appointment scheduled for your dog with these symptoms, we ask that you please keep your pup in the car, away from other patients. You can call our office upon arrival and check in with a technician over the phone.

After 2 weeks and 2 days Jason found his way home and caught in a Have A Heart trap in our yard.. it was the longest 2wks and 2 days of my life but he's home ❤❤
