PSA

We are only human. I know we won’t please everyone. But this was a little disheartening. We strive to give you and your pup the best experience when you come to our salons. If you aren’t happy, please tell us. We would love any feedback you may have for us.

We are hoping these “horror stories” are just made up by this person. But if someone has felt this way, or you’re the groomer who told this person the “horror stories”, please enlighten us on what those are.

This isn’t the type of post we like posting, but we are always transparent with our clients and customers.

As always, we love what we do. And we love our clients and pups.

We don’t like posting things like this, but we have to :/ we like to think payments with us are easy. We offer a few different methods, and even offer invoices so you can pay when you get home.

Sadly we have run into the issue of having invoices being left unpaid. That means we don’t get paid. And that’s just not cool.

Please make sure to pay your invoices! We want to keep seeing you and your pups!

October is our favorite month! We get to put on our biggest event….HOCUS PAWCUS!! We are looking for vendors to join us! I’ve already reached out to a few and we can’t wait to have you. But if you would like to be apart of this event please reach out!

$20 vendors fee. All proceeds from vendor fees and raffles will go towards Fetch a Cure’s steel dog program!

Today is Kirsty’s last day at The Doggie Lama Salons. I hate that this day is here, but I’m so thankful for the time I have been able to work along side this beautiful human. She helped me make what The Doggie Lama is today.

We wish Kirsty nothing but the best and we are so happy she can finally go be with her wonderful husband in the UK.

I could go on and on about how amazing she is and how much I want her to stay, but we don’t have enough time :)

Please join me today in wishing her well on her future travels and endeavors, showing her some love in the comments, sending her a nice going away message, or maybe even showing her Venmo some love! She deserves the world.

Why take your dog to a place where they will sit in a crate all day? At The Doggie Lama Salons, the pups have comfy places to hang out and a whole zen den to relax in if pick up is taking a little longer than expected.

Come out to 5711 Staples Mill Road on Sunday, April 28th to chat with the FETCH a Cure team and learn how to check your pets for lumps, bumps, and the other early warning signs of pet cancer from Dr. Shannon Kenny of The Oncology Service Richmond.

FETCH a Cure is a Richmond-based nonprofit dedicated to furthering pet cancer awareness, education, and treatment options. The organization provides financial assistance to families in Virginia, Maryland, and DC who are facing a cancer diagnosis with their pets.
