This sweet girl is Roja, a pup currently at the Goochland County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center awaiting her forever home. She also happens to be a hero. You see, a few days ago a very sick dog needed emergency surgery at our Richmond hospital, but wouldn't have made it through without a blood transfusion. In stepped Roja with a Christmas miracle. Partner's Dr. Ditzler and Goochland Tech Bridget, took good care of Roja during the transfusion and this sweet girl got extra treats afterward. ♥️ Good girl, Roja!
