Poor Jimmy was found by Good Samaritans as they hiked deep in the woods. We have no idea how a little hound puppy ended up on his own in the middle of the woods, but we are relieved he was found by caring people who brought him to safety. Jimmy is grateful for every niceness and comfort he is offered. In typical hound fashion – he is friendly and fun-loving, with a taste and desire for adventure! He is cute as a button and sweet as pie... all of the cliches rolled into a hound puppy package! Jimmy is excelling with his training, even at a such a young age. He does great in his crate, is nearly house-trained, and is learning his manners on leash (he’s a hound, though, and loves to follow his nose). Jimmy has been great with other dogs, adults, and children but will need a home without cats. This little man with the big ears has LOADS of potential and will undoubtedly fill his forever home with lots of love. Please help us find Jimmy the forever home he so desperately deserves!

This adorable land seal is Dixie, approximately 2 years. Dixie came to us stray, filthy and with red and raw skin. Dixie says life since coming to us has not been bad at all. Dixie is excited to be spayed and never bred again, she's on heartworm prevention, vaccinated and on poultry free food and her skin is already looking better. Dixie is fostered with dogs, cats and children and has been doing wonderfully with all. Dixie has had no potty accidents and is crate trained. She has her zoomie moments but has largely been a laid back gal simply wanting love. Zora is longest on grounds and URGENT to get out of here. She's HW NEG! ❤️ She's 1-2 years young and around 42lbs, a great choice for any family. Her bag 🎒 is already packed and it's TIME SENSITIVE that we find her family! Zora is Ms. Popular during playtime, as every dog loves her. Who wants a older girl to give some love too! ❤️❤️❤️

Dorothy was sick, deteriorating and not eating while in a local, overcrowded shelter. (Pic on left)
She was RESCUE only due to needing vet care, so we stepped up to give her a new life. ❤️ It took several months for her to get healthy as she had skin, ear and eye infections along with food allergies so she also needed a quality nutrition plan.
Now she is healthy and happy and an easy laid back girl!
Dorothy is an older gal and is fine staying home while you work. She is crate trained but we don’t think she usually needs it. She loves to be a couch potato with her person, go for strolls around the neighborhood and take car rides. She passed all dog tests at the shelter but wanted to chase the cats.
She is perfect as an only dog and will be somewhat protective of her person, barking whenever she senses anyone coming around. She is leash trained and on a limited protein diet as we believe she is allergic to chicken but it is not proven 100%. She could probably benefit from home cooked meals as she loves to eat! 😉
Dorothy is good at the groomers and a very sweet gal. She needs to find her person or family as she has been with us almost 8 months. Dorothy loves toys and playing with her babies. ❤️
We believe she is housetrained.
Dorothy is located in Ocean isle, NC about an hour from Myrtle Beach.
She is completely vetted, spayed, vaccinated, chipped, Heartworm negative, and current on preventatives including 6 months of hw meds. (Not due until next year) ❤️ She weighs around 55 lbs and is 8 years old. She does have some skin allergies so may need to do a little testing with different proteins (we currently send lamb or salmon), baths, and she has received some cytopoint injections and took some allergy meds during the summer. Our vet says she is 95% better since we rescued her! 😍❤️‍🩹
Dorothy comes with all vet records, chip info, bag of quality food, leash, collar, and any personal items, toys, vitamins.
This sweet girl is perfect for one person who wants a companion and she doesn’t require a lot of exercise. 💕
