We are a small farm located in Henrietta, Texas. We raise registered Nigerian dwarfs and Anatolians.
🌻We have these six does available. 5 are semi-friendly (will come to feed and treats), and 1 that is always scratching her head on you. 5 of them were born March 2023, and the other is about 3 years old (I’d have to look at records to be sure). Great starter herd or pasture grazers. Open to considerations.🌻

🌻We have bred a very select few of our girls to our Flat Rocks silver buck and hopefully expecting lots of unique beautiful kids come November. Our does come from excellent genetic and milk lineage so fingers crossed we have some lookers and powerhouses next kidding season!🌻
If you’re aware the livestock market (even horses, pigs, and cattle) just is not what it used to be so our selection on breeders this season was to breed for us, and what we wanted to add back to our herd. So there may be select few available come end of the year but I really hope the market turns over sooner than later, it always seems to ebb and flow. Seeing so many “herd reductions and dispersals” from well known farms is difficult as for many farming and showing livestock is a way of life. Hang in there y’all! 🥰

🌻Our herd is tested and all negative! Thank you to Jessica Whittlesey and her hoof trimming business for coming out and drawing blood for us and trimming up some of our goats too!🌻
🌻 It is a literal swamp here, again! My poor guardians and their paws, hope for drying out soon and to get these pastures mowed. By the time you can mow, the pastures will be dead from summer heat lol. 🌻

🌻Feeding before the storms….yet again! The grass is out of control here, but too wet to mow any of the pastures. The poor goats are starting to get lost out there in it lol. And these mosquitos!!😅🌻
🌻👀 Feeding time! I don’t know about you guys but the amount of rain has been crazy! I know we will be saying how much we need rain come summer time though. But I’m sick of walking around in mud and ankle deep water! 😅🌻
🌻We haven’t been as active on the farm page since moving last May and shortly after adding a new human member to our family. To say it has been a whirlwind is saying the least lol. But as you can imagine all the things a new baby and first time parents bring! Please know our presence with our farm animals remains the same as we have continued to care for our Nigerian dwarf herd and our Anatolian livestock guardians. We just have not been breeding for the last couple seasons considering we have had our hands full already. I will be finding time to be more present here with updates to our farm as well. 🌻
💥Plans for 2024 fall kids are in the works as soon as I figure out who I would like to pair with our first time breeding our silver buck, Lincoln with some of our best does that weren’t bred last year. We will be very selective on breeding this year as the market has been saturated unfortunately, and I have a few girls I can’t wait to see what they produce so they may just stay here.💥 stay tuned 👀

🌻These two got their vaccinations at the vet earlier this week. They were not impressed lol! Beretta was a sweet nervous girl, but did not bite or growl at anyone, and the puppy decided the corner was the best place to be. 🥰 Beretta weighed in at 103lbs, and puppy is 17lbs at 7 weeks old. He is going to be a big boy like his daddy!🌻
🌻This little boy is now 6 weeks old!🌻
💗He loves food, chewing and biting on things, and watching the chickens play. He will be going out into a pen in the pasture with his momma to start learning how to be a true guardian. Then we will decide if we are going to keep him or find him a farm to continuing working on.💗

🌻Did some goat maintenance this weekend out in the pastures. Two little boys got the green donut and were completely dramatic about it for a good two hours, and some of the kids got their CDT vaccine. I decided to get some photos while I was out there. Our Anatolian Wilson is apparently a camera model 😂. He’s a leaner and likes to be right on me all the time, so I told him okay back up and let me get your picture. I took my phone out and he did exactly that 🤷♀️. So here are the many photos of Wilson. He deserves his own post! LOL 🌻

🌻Beretta’s one puppy is now 2 weeks and 3 days old. His eyes are open and he is attempting to walk around instead of roll around 😂. Isnt that the cutest face you ever saw?
💗We were not expecting just one, but we also were not expecting her to be bred right before we moved, so maybe a blessing in disguise there. We are considering hanging onto this little boy as there is a lot more space to guard from predators where we relocated to. But still to be determined on his instincts to guard.💗
🌻 Beretta went into labor last night and out came one single little brindle pup. I stayed up with her until about 4am and no other obvious contractions so I went to bed and Brandon checked on her this morning and still nothing. So we hauled her to the vet just to be sure there were no complications, and that was confirmed. Beretta now has herself one little single boy to spoil! 💙 pictures to come at a later date.
🌻 I have been waiting all week for these last 5 girls to kid and I go out of town and two decide it’s time. 🤦♀️ Thankfully Brandon was on baby watch all weekend while I was gone, and of course I’ve been stalking the pasture cameras each day. Hoping to make it back before another one decides today is the day! Waiting for Georgia, Amelia, and Ivy now.🌻

🌻These dogs are exceptional guardians from outstanding bloodlines and we have enjoyed watching them grow into their instincts over the last two years protecting our home and herd. Possibly expecting a litter of AKC Anatolians end of next month from our girl Beretta. 😍 Stay tuned!🌻

🌻Who purchases new goats right in the middle of our kidding season?!?! I just like to make life a little interesting apparently, and thought who deserves new goats, this girl does 😍 lol. Happy to add new genetics and a little different color in our herd. These three sweet blue eyed girls will join the herd after quarantine! 💗🌻

🌻Pixie waited until right when we got home last night to go into labor. She’s one of our smallest does and this is her first freshening, so I was pretty worried about this birthing. Surprisingly she only needed a little assistance with the first one, and she had twins. Both of them are big and healthy! 🙌 I believe twin doelings too, undecided right now on retaining these girls. 😍🌻
🌻The best girl, Miss Scarlet waited around until both of us were home from work to start labor, finally got to be present for a kidding this season! 🙌 This is her second freshening and she has only had girls so far!🌻

🌻Carolina decided to have triplet doelings while we ran some errands yesterday. She is a first time freshener and by the time we made it back, we were only able to get one of the doelings back to life. All of this happening during a monsoon of a thunderstorm all night long of course. 🤦♀️🌻
💗 The little doeling, maybe 1-2 pounds (granted she continues to perk up) will be available mid May for a new 🏡. Possibly mama as well. Both unregistered. Yes, she camped in the garage overnight, waiting out the storms. 🤷♀️🌻

🌻 It has been an effort the last week, especially the last couple of days with me being down two days, and now Brandon is down with the same stomach virus! Of course the kids don’t stop coming just because we are sick! We finally ended kidding season this afternoon finishing with Hellfire who had buck/doe twins, and Scarlet with a single doeling. Ending with 14 kids - 9💗 and 5💙. Everyone is doing well so far! 🌻 *More photos to come later with pedigrees once we are back to 100%* Meanwhile here’s a video of some of the babies - excuse my heavy breathing 😳😂
