It’s with heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved Buster Brown has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was the heart and soul of RW Canine Retreat. But you know what? There’s a little bit of joy in the sadness because we know he’s now back together with his sweet Georgeanne. Just imagining their reunion brings happy tears to our eyes! Buster lived an amazing life and would’ve turned 15 this August!

Oh my gosh, it was stunning! Seriously, as gorgeous as it was, we’re kinda relieved it’s over! 😂 Some of the pups were having way too much fun and we ended up playing chase just to get them inside! It turned into a full-on game! And there was this one dog who went absolutely bonkers for snowballs—so I tossed one into her run to lure her in! 😂

Is your pup bursting with energy after being stuck inside all weekend? Call or text us, and we’ll set them up for an awesome play day! We’ll tire them out, and to top it off, we’ll make sure they get a nice bath at the end of the day!

We are located 10 miles from Henrietta and only 25 miles from Wichita Falls.

Hey clients!

We wanted to share a couple of updates we're making at the retreat.

First off, we've really tried to hold off on this, but with rising costs, we need to increase our boarding rate to $35 per day, per dog. If you already have dates scheduled, they will stay at the old price. But don’t worry! We’re still offering discounts: 20% off for 3 or more dogs, 10% for military, and don’t forget our extended stay deal—stay for 7 consecutive days and get the 8th day free!

Our second update is about our drop-off and pick-up hours. We’ve expanded them a bit! Here’s the new schedule:
- Monday-Saturday: 8:30-11:30 AM or 3-7 PM
- Sunday: 9-11 AM or 4-7 PM

We’re excited to keep providing the top-notch care you know and love. Thanks so much for supporting our small business—we can’t wait to create more fun memories with your pups when they stay with us!

Today was Louie’s turn to take a walk out in public and he did just as great as his brother! Super proud of these boys!!

I couldn’t be prouder of Teddy! This determined little guy has made such amazing progress! Today was his first public outing, and he even got compliments for how well behaved he was! Way to go, Teddy!

Oh my! This is the CUTEST duo! Sweet Neela and Gracie! Both girls are brand new boarders and they are so funny to watch play together!

Brother’s Teddy and Louie are in sync! They graduate next week and we can’t wait for their owner to see how far these 2 have come!

Mylo is off leash! This is a perfect example of going through the program at a dogs pace…. He’s been here for 17 days and he showed us last week he was ready to be off leash. Most dogs aren’t ready to be off leash until week 4 or 5, but if the dog is ready early we will move forward with off leash training.

I never know what I’m going to run into when out on a walk with the dogs…. This morning it was an armadillo and Daene wanted to play. 🤣

Roxie is doing so good with her leash training! When she came she was rolling and pulling and screeching! Now she is walking and sitting with such manners! Proud of this pretty girl!

Look at that distance! Bentley will be graduating intermediate obedience next week, and we are fine tuning all his skills. His long stay is excellent. Good job Ben!
