UPDATE: THEY WERE PICKED UP BY A KIND PEDESTRIAN AND TAKEN TO ANIMAL CONTROL ON HATTON RD.

We just got a call from a truck driver who spotted two very skinny dogs on 2393 by Jolly, he stopped and put food out for them but couldn’t take. Unfortunately we are overflowing with dogs and cannot take, if anyone can help them please do! It is what looks to be a Rottweiler and a tan dog, the Rott looks to have had pups recently.

Long Legs says we need some volunteers to help us out in the cattery. We are currently short staffed as we currently cannot afford to hire anyone new. Most of our cats are now in cages to prepare for the move to the new building which has been pushed back until sometime in February(hopefully). If you would like to volunteer, we are here from 9 am to 1 pm everyday. Kids under 16 will need a parent/guardian to stay with them.

January 22, 2021 our founder Annie Boddy McClintock gained her wings after battling cancer for a very long time. We are doing our best to keep her Dream alive with saving , caring and finding loving homes for the abused, abandoned and the throw aways the unwanted. I had to step into her shoes, which she groomed me for over the years. I will never completely fill them. I find myself tripping alot, but keeping the promise I made to her. She was my boss,my mentor,my friend,my sister and family. Annie your picture hangs in the office and we know you are looking down. I hope we are doing enough to make you proud. I miss you and love you.❤️❤️ Bonnie

We see people drive slowly by our shelter all the time trying to see what we got or just trying to see our setup. Rodeo invites anyone who is interested to stop on by and have a look! We will gladly show you around! Our current cattery is in rough shape, but we are hoping our new cattery will be ready by next month! We are here from 9 am to 1 pm everyday!

Pet of the month is JJ! He is a very sweet Boston Terrier mix. He does great with other dogs and cats. He doesn’t really like to play with them, but enjoys their company. He loves long walks! He does have really bad seizures and requires two types of medication for them, three times a day. Will need someone with experience with dogs that have seizures.
