All paws up and a big thank you to everyone who came out from the Shepard Air Force base this weekend! They had a blast walking and playing with the dogs. We love having volunteers come out! We are open everyday this week from 9 am to 1 pm, except for Thanksgiving(11/28).

We were invited to career day at Henrietta Elementary. Lot's of questions and some really nice talks with these children.Over all I believe they understand the importance of what we do.

UP DATE : REUNITED WITH OWNER .ALL 3 ARE HAPPY BABIES NOW. These babies are at JellyStone Park. They have been there since Wednesday. They are friendly as you can see. They have been visiting with the visitors. I believe they are going to pull the camera footage to see who came in with and left without. FOUND! This dog is hanging around Jolly Truck Stop. Seems skittish and won’t come close to anyone. Might have jumped out of a truck or belong to someone close to there. If yours please go get. This is not a good place to be hanging out in, we have no openings for anything right now unfortunately.

These two sweet female dogs are needing a new home(s). Family member got them and decided they didn’t want them and gave them to person who has now. Don’t know about vetting other than they have had their first vaccines. They are only around a year old. They get along great with other dogs, kids and cats. Happy Texoma Gives, next is Rocket.

Happy Texoma Gives, next is Rocket! Rocket is a very sweet boy. He is only a year old so has lots of energy. He loves toys as you can see in his cute video. He does great with other dogs, we aren’t sure about cats or kids as he’s never been around them. By donating through Texoma Gives you help keep him and all our other dogs vetted, as well as, keep the lights on, fans going, and water running. Clear the Shelters is still going on until the 10th so his fee is waived until then, if you are interested in taking this sweet boy home please call the shelter at 940-538-6757 or come by to meet him. Sweet Boss

UPDATE: HE’S BEEN ADOPTED TO A GREAT HOME!! Sweet Boss is begging for a home where he can get all the attention! He will need a tall wooden fence as he can jump/climb over a five foot chain link fence. He also doesn’t like male dogs his size but does great with female dogs and larger male dogs. He is the last dog from the four that were dumped on Fairview road back in January.
