From warm welcomes and scheduling magic ✨ to answering every phone call with patience and compassion—our receptionists do it ALL (and then some)! They’re the first smile you see and the calm voice on the line when you need it most.
We couldn’t do what we do without their dedication, kindness, and love for both pets and people. Thank you for being the glue that holds us together! 💌🐶🐱

Each year, our Practice Manager, Jordan, hides eggs around the hospital for our staff to find. She follows only 2 simple rules: No eggs in the exam rooms and no eggs in the bathrooms. What follows is about a week of us playing "Hot or Cold" with each other to find our stash.

This year Jordan has also hidden 4 golden eggs with a special prize inside - but we have been assured that they will be the most difficult eggs we've ever had to find. Wish us luck! 🐣 🍭🌷

Donations Needed!

We are so grateful for all of the donations we've received recently for blankets and washcloths - they sure do come in handy!

A popular microchip manufacturer has recently gone out of business, and their chips are no longer traceable!

If your pet has a chip through Save This Life, please have them scanned and register your chip with another free microchip service. We recommend the AAHA, as it is the most popular site for shelters and vet offices to search for microchip information! You could also use a service like PetKey, which also offers the ability to create free flyers in the case your pet goes missing.

Our EOTM for April is Betty! She has been a receptionist in our office for almost 2 years. Her empathy is unmatched, and she can set anyone at ease. Her calming presence and big heart are what earned her this month's nomination.

This morning, our Reception Supervisors, Katie & Bethany, led our team in a refresher training about our hospital database. They learned the basics of creating clients & patients, setting up appointments & taking payments.

We like to offer opportunities for our staff to learn more about what their team members do - and no one can say no to free breakfast!

Our staff enjoyed a well deserved outing last night for Adult Night at Strong National Museum of Play. With all the stress that can come with trying to help as many sick animals as possible, 7 days a week, it's nice to be able to let loose and act like a kid for a while! Lots of laughs were shared and the staff is back today reenergized and ready to help!
