Richmond County 4-H Horse Club will resume meeting on January 25th.
There are no December club meetings! We hope you and your family have a wonderful Holiday season and we will see you in the New Year!

What a beautiful day today at Spirit Creek Farm for our club!!!
We sang Happy Birthday to our 4-H Agent and ate cupcakes. Mrs. Wilkens taught us all about the different horse colors, and we were quizzed by Ms. Sarah. After getting the question right, we got a piece of candy. Sebastion got groomed, and so did one of the Great Pyrenees.
All in all a wonderful day at the farm.

4-H Horse Club had a great first meeting!!
We had farriers that taught us all about hooves!
Mrs. PK had us do a relay race and both teams WON!
Mr. Stephen cooked hotdogs for us and we ate every single one!
Next meeting is November 16th!

Fifteen days after Hurricane Helene. 11/12/24
My walk with Carly.
Roads are getting cleared, and tremendous logs and branches litter Augusta's sidewalks and yards.
Public spaces like the conservation area on Ingleside look the same as the day after the storm.
We still don't have internet.
I did finish my classes for the eight weeks; I am starting my last class on Monday, the eight-week Capstone to my bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership.

Spirit Creek Farm was hit hard as was all of Augusta. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone harmed by this storm.
No Horse Club Saturday, September 28th.

4-H Horse Club will start our new year on Saturday, rain or shine! Come prepared with boots on if we get that stormy weather on Thursday and Friday! We are talking and learning about Horses Hooves!

Good rainy morning, 4-H Horse Club lovers, we unfortunately are having quite a rainy morning and will have to cancel Horse Club today.
