Hello everyone!
“Hills science Diet” is doing a donation drive at “Petsense” in Hermiston Oregon.
Would you like to donate to benefit local animals in our community?

Wanted to take a second and say THANK YOU to Fuzzball Animal Rescue and Paws in Pendleton. We had this very neglected stray turned into our shelter today. Fuzzball kindly got it medical attention and Paws found a foster. We are truly grateful. I have been sent new photos and he now looks amazing and I’m am quite certain is grateful for those who have helped him.

Received this amazing letter and updated pics. To top it off this awesome family has donated each of the past 8 years in honor of this wonderful pup they adopted from our shelter. It’s stories like this that keep us all going. Thank you to all who adopt!!

Super big THANK YOU to these outatanding members of the “Satellite Club” of the Hermiston Rotary. Not only was it great to interact with each of them…..but their amazing service of painting and showing shelter puppies love was priceless.

Here is our latest adorable litter available through our “spay momma dog program.”
They are quite the mixture. Shepherd/Heeler/Border Collie/Pit/…..and maybe one has a little Chihuahua.
We have 7 males and 4 females and they are approximately 7 weeks of age.
Each can be adopted for $175 and come with a $50 refund when spayed or neutered at 6 months of age.
We are located at 1844 nw geer rd in Hermiston Oregon.
We are open 11-3pm Tuesday through Saturday

Have you heard of our “spay the momma dog program?”

This program has blessed many!

If you, your neighbor, or even perhaps a friend or family member has a pregnant momma dog or litters of pups and do not know what help is out there, please spread the word.

We take in entire litters of pups between 6-8 weeks of age, vaccinate them, and adopt them to forever families. No charge.

This is a win win!!

Momma dogs get to stay with their families, are spayed, future unwanted litters are prevented, and pups find wonderful homes.

Super big THANK YOU these amazing youth and leaders from the Church of Latter Day Saints Sandstone Ward who came this evening to our shelter and bathed, fed, and gave tons of love to our shelter animals.

Super big THANK YOU to these awesome young women and leaders from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints “Butte Ward Activities Days” who came to our shelter this afternoon. They did some amazing service at our Thrift Store and also gave some much needed love to our shelter dogs. Great work ladies!! Y’all are a great example.

Our “spay momma dog program” has been going great this past month.

We have chihuahua/min pin/Jack Russell terrier cross pups, (1st pic)

Husky/German Shorthair cross pups, (2nd pic)

and even a Shepherd/Lab cross pup.
(3rd pic is a female)

Each of the chihuahua/min pin/terrier cross pups can be adopted for $200, and the Husky/German Shorthair pups and Shepherd cross pups can be adopted for $150. Each puppy comes with a $50 refund when they are fixed at 6 months of age.

People ask me all the time what our shelter needs in terms of supplies. Our local Hermiston Home Depot came through for us in a big way! Paper towels, bleach , odo-ban, blankets, and even brooms. We are truly grateful for businesses like this and all you individuals who support our Humane Society.

One of the best things you can do is to put a tag with a name and phone number on your dog.
We can even put an address on if your desire.
Cost is $15 per tag.
Our normal office hours are 11-3pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Super big THANK YOU to “Windermere Group 1” for coming and volunteering today. These amazing individuals walked and socialized with dogs, and straightened up our thrift store. In all we had 17 volunteers from Windermere! Amazing!!

“Lilly” came to us as a stray and was never claimed by her prior owner. Today she went up for adoption. We believe she is a Great Pyrenees cross. Lilly is shy at first but so sweet. Would you like to welcome her into your home? Come visit her. We are open 11-3pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Have you heard of our “spay momma dog program?”

If you, a family member, a friend, or even a neighbor, or just someone you know has a pregnant momma dog or litters of pups we can help!

We take in entire litters when ready, vaccinate them, de-worm, and then adopt them to forever families!!

However, this is not all. We will pay to “spay” your momma dog at one of our local veterinarians.

This is a win win win. Future unwanted litters are being prevented, and momma dog gets to stay with her family. All this while pups are finding forever families!
