The chocolate bar tasted great going down, not so much coming back up 🤢! Also, we had to protect the ears from getting dirty because she's a princess girl! 😍💁🏽‍♀️

Poor Scarlett decided to partake in a little (or a lot) of chocolate tasting. Little did she know that it was waaaaay too much for her little body! Luckily, we got all that chocolate back, and she was able to be comfy at home with her mom and dad later that evening!

She would like everyone to know, "it wasn't worth it" 😆

Little Draco seems to be more of a Gryffindor than a Slytherin with his sweet little soul🧙🏻‍♂️. We know that his cunningness is on it a way to showing. This precious, curious little man is already winning over the hearts of us muggles 💙

This big boy can teach everyone a thing or two about sweetness and gentleness. It must be why his name is "Coach".

He may be the size of a bear (literally), but his insides are as squishy and soft as the cuddly kind 😇. We loved meeting Coach today and giving him all the love 💙. He gave us all the laughs when he stood on his hind legs and was a foot taller than Cortney (the look on her face was priceless) 😃

Mom says he would get a big head with all the attention he got, but we aren't sure it can get much bigger 🫠❤️

Meet Geronimo! 🐦‍⬛ This little baby Robin fell out of his nest 🪹 (way too high up) and is not quite old enough to be out and about yet! He was hanging out on the ground outside of our back door with Mama keeping a very close eye on him! There are some cats from the neighborhood behind us that walk past our building frequently, so we didn't want to leave him on the ground.

We fashioned a makeshift nest 🪺 with some Timothy Hay, and we are happy to report that Mama Bird is still feeding him, and he's doing well!

We've grown quite fond of him but try to leave him alone as much as possible (Mama Bird is very protective and honestly a little scary).

If you ever wonder where our hearts lie, it is in helping those who cannot help themselves ❤️

Middle Tennessee, it's time. The cicadas have started emerging and while some of us are running as fast as we can in the opposite direction 🏃‍♀️ some pets are enjoying them as a tasty treat or a fun game of "catch the flying bug that makes a lot of noise".

While they are non-toxic and generally good for the environment, they can still cause an issue with your pet.

Our pets' GI system is not used to these flying foreign bugs, which can result in vomiting, diarrhea, irritation to the esophagus, and more. Be cautious about your pet ingesting these little guys! If you need guidance or an appointment to help with GI disturbances, give us a call. 615.761.9448

Today was a good reminder of just how IMPORTANT microchipping your pet can be! 🙌🏻

One of our sweet clients found this Pup (we later learned her name was Carrol) and brought her to us for a microchip scan. LUCKILY 🍀 this beautiful girl was microchipped and soon after, reunited with her mom.

These stories don't always end this way. Unfortunately, more times than not, there is no chip, and we can not get them reunited with their owners. It is heartbreaking! 💔

We are so happy that Carrol and her mom are back together ❤️ and that this is a happy ending!

We are so proud to announce that the Lakeside Animal Hospital family has grown. Cortney, our practice manager, welcomed a healthy baby boy earlier this week!!! Mom and baby are doing great!
