I want to revisit this brushing guide, because I’m sure there will be new puppies this month.🐶🎄

I’m posting this sweet puppy in the comments as an example of how mom was doing her best to brush, but was missing the ‘red’ zones. Unfortunately, those areas were badly matted and needed to be shaved.😔 And when so much needs to be shaved you have to go shorter so puppy doesn’t look like a turtle, and the hair will grow back more evenly.
Copper was such a good boy for his first grooming . 🥰 Not what mom wanted for her ‘fluffy’ puppy. I really don’t like when I have to go so short. However, Copper is still adorable and will feel so much better now that the tight matting is gone.

Doodles and ‘fluffy’ pups really need to be on a four week schedule so we can keep them tangle free and any length you want.. 😊😊😊😊

Sweet, sweet, Bella.
It had been a while since she had been groomed, but I took care of that.😊
You can see she stops panting so much as soon as just half the hot matted hair was taken off. And then completely when she was all the way short.
I love helping pups feel comfortable. 🥰🐾
