Our third foal of the season has arrived! Welcome Bellini (Bliss NF x Weltana SW x Weltmeyer). This Hanoverian filly is all chromed up, and is as curious and personable as she is flashy! She is bred to be an exceptional hunter, jumper, or dressage prospect, with her pedigree full of very successful competitors in all 3 events.

Bliss MF has incredible athletic ability from both his sire Balou du Rouet and his mother's sire Argentinus,. He has beautiful 10+ movement and flawless conformation. He jumps in perfect knees to eyeballs form. Most importantly though is the brain! The Argentinus on the mare side is what really makes the difference because Argentinus is well known for putting great minds on his offspring and Bliss's mother Ornella is the calmest, most level headed horse I have ever encountered. So while Bliss's athletic ability is obvious, it is his great mind that will win the day.
Bliss MF is already well known for the wonderful Hunters he is producing. He also has two competing in Eventing and quite a few in the Jumpers. To date most of his offspring are only 6 yrs old at the oldest so with over 390 offspring on the ground right now we are really looking forward to the next few years and all the new ones on the way to the show ring.
Bliss MF is approved BWP, Hanoverian, Oldenburg GOV, sBs and Westfalen (RPSI).

At his Trakehner Licensing, Herzensdieb was awarded Champion Stallion. “This stallion is not just moving, but dancing,” was the enthusiastic comment. Trakehner Verband Breeding Manager Lars Gehrmann added, “Endowed with the aura of something special, this stallion embodies the classical Trakehner upgrader type.”
He was Reserve Champion of his 70-Day Test scoring above champions from Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Westfalen and Holsteiner licensings. He won the Trakehner Championship for 3-year-old stallions, qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses and then trained up to the Advanced Level.
Herzensdieb has an FN breeding value dressage of 142 points and is in the top 10% of German dressage sires. He was honored with the prestigious Elite Hengst title (E.H.) by the Trakehner Verband.
Herzensdieb stamps his offspring with his elegant type and exceptional rideability. Many daughters including Heartbreaker, Harriet and Helmi have won honors at large mare shows throughout Germany. Daughter Elfenzauber qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses. He has two licensed sons; Herzenswunsch was 2012 Champion of Southern Germany, Horse of the Year in Berlin-Brandenburg and a multiple Bundeschampionat finalist. Hollywood made his successful CDI Grand Prix debut in 2019 with Helen Langehanenberg. In the U.S., Hannigan L had a stellar year at Fourth Level at large shows with rider Mike Suchanek.
He is approved Trakehner, AHS, HV, ARS, GOV, Southern Germany, Danish and Swedish registries.

Foaling season has arrived here at the Eagles Rest!

Introducin the first filly of the season, Onyx ERR, (Orbetello x Romantic Shanghai x Sandro Hit).

This Hanoverian filly is bred to be a jumper and dressage prospect extraordinaire, and her pedigree speaks for itself! Now’s the chance to get this incredibly well bred filly for a great price!

Orbetello is the embodiment of impeccable character, intelligence and work ethic. During his Oldenburg stallion licensing in Vechta, he scored the highest free-jumping score in history, received the honor of the 1c Premium designation and placed third among all stallions. At 4, during his 70-Day Stallion Test in Munster-Handorf, Orbetello earned the exceptional overall score of 121.988 (106.63 for dressage and 131.72 for jumping). In September 2015, Orbetello was inspected and approved by the Belgian Sport Horse Studbook (SBS) and received 9.5 for jumping, rideability, walk, canter, type and forelegs. At his American Hanoverian Society inspection in August of 2021, he scored 9 for his head, neck and hindleg and 8 for conformation, typiness, frame, walk and canter: outstanding scores.

Chica is a coming 2yo trakehner filly. Showing floaty, correct movement as well as a sweet outgoing disposition. By Tatendrang out of a TB mare she has plenty of blood to be a successful sport horse. She should mature at least 16h+.

Her sire Tatendrang*Pb* is a modern stallion who scored a "60" at his stallion approvals with the American Trakehner Association on October 3, 2008. He scored all 8's for his walk, trot, canter, jumping, and general impression - all as a 2 1/2 year old. The inspectors commented on his bold uphill movement , his good form over fences, modern Trakehner type, elegance, excellent saddle position, nice neck set, as well as his nice temperament.
Tate found his stride in eventing in 2013 by winning the Area III Preliminary Championship followed by the Inagural CHC International CIC*. He proved that he was a force to be reckoned with by following that up with a win at the 2014 Red Hills International Horse Trials CIC* with the best score of all FEI divisions. He finished 2014 with completions at Bromont CCI**, Fair Hill International CCI** and first place Open Intermediate at Poplar Place Farm November Horse Trials. With a great uphill gallop and a smooth and efficient jumping technique, Tate finds his way around the cross country course with ease. Not to be overlooked is his competitiveness in the dressage and show jumping arenas, rounding out his talent for all three phases of eventing.
With his success as an event horse his offspring have been sought after in all areas of sport.

The Eagles Rest is a 110 acre ranch that is very private.The property has over 6 1/2 miles of 4 board fencing with automatic gates at all entrances. A large 24 stall MD barn 60x145 with O fire spread safety rating, riding arena, large pastures, paddocks, covered wash rack, bathroom, tack rooms etc.
