This precious girl has such a special place in my heart! She played with my son & his friends SO well at the playground where we found her. (Technically, she found us. 😉)

When we went to leave, she cried and patiently waited by my car. I couldn’t leave her there, of course, so I loaded her up and about 2 hrs and a pup cup from Happy Daze later, she arrived at the shelter.

This girl has the sweet, playful energy for kids and the need for loving cuddles in your lap when she’s ready to settle down. She was an angel in the car, never moving from my lap.

She deserves the BEST forever family! If you know who might fit that bill, please tell them about her!

Also, idk if coincidence or not, but they gave her my middle name! 🥹 (I had to produce my I.D. at drop off during paperwork.)

EASY DIY Doggy Ice Cream

🍌1 Ripe Banana
🥜1/2 cup Peanut Butter
🥛1 cup Plain Natural Yogurt
🍯1 teaspoon Honey

• Heat the peanut butter until easy to stir.
• Mash the ripe banana in a bowl.
• Mix in the plain yogurt.
• Add honey to the banana and yogurt mixture.
• Stir the peanut butter into the mixture until everything is well combined.
• Pour the mixture into a container and place in the freezer.
• Freeze for at least 6 hours to chill.

🍦This is a great way to cool down your furry friend during the hot summer months!

🐶Make sure to use natural, unsweetened yogurt and peanut butter without xylitol to keep it healthy for your pup!

Life threatening cold Tuesday morning. Please, bring in your outdoor pets if possible or make sure they have adequate cover. Check on your neighbors and have backup heat sources if possible.

I always get excited when clients have cats, as I’ve only had dogs in my teenage and adult life.

Well, a few days ago, my husband was traveling down Hwy 51 and this 5 wk old, 1lb little cutie was nearly a pancake… the rest is history!

In honor of National Dog Day, I would love to share with y’all my 2 babies!

KAI is our 10 yr old blue pit. He is Mr. Personality, as spoiled as they come, and talks non stop! He must cuddle when he sleeps and is still a spring chicken! We are so grateful Kai has changed the hearts and minds of so many people through the years towards his breed. 💙

LUCY is our 9 yr old Heinz 57. We adopted her from the county shelter. Lucy just wants you to love on her, feed her & tell she’s pretty! 😂 Her favorite activity is “holding down the couch” and is as loving & loyal as they come! She can’t control her licker, but we love her just the same!

I would like to mention that Animal Medical Center of Hernando has been their vet their entire lives, and we could never ever imagine sending them anywhere else! They have always taken the BEST care of our babies and we will sing their praises any day of the week!

Hello! I’m Lisa Richmond, a DeSoto County pet sitter. I provide care to paws, claws, fins and feathers, too!

I offer extended care, as well as drop-ins, from the comfort of your home. My hope is to become “your” trusted person who is dependable, reliable, and always there for life’s planned vacations, unforeseen emergencies, and last minute road trips!

I do prefer a meet and greet before services are rendered. There is the exception of a last minute request, of course! My goal is for everyone (especially your pets!) to feel comfortable and happy in knowing that everything is being taken care of in your absence.

Rates vary based upon # of pets, services requested, and distance (if outside of my general area). I am confident in giving specialized care, such as medications and baths. As part of my service, I also water plants, check the mail, take the trash can to the curb, bring in packages, etc.

**I do not offer overnight care at this time.**
