Will your pet be the winner of the 2024 Pawtissiere Halloween Costume Contest?👻🐾

October 26th 8am to 1pm at the Hernando Farmers Market

How to participate:
Option 1- show up in costume at the market the 26th I’ll have you sign a paper and I’ll take a photo

Option 2- comment on the post that day with a photo of your dressed up pet (bonus points if you have a matching/duo costume with your pet)

How will it be judged? I’ll have a very esteemed group of volunteers vote. (aka my followers) They will vote on a separate post by liking the photos of the pets who are participating. The winner will be announced on Halloween day!

PRIZE 🏆 2024 trophy and bragging rights for the rest of your life AND a free Christmas stocking stuffer box! Whoop whoop!

I can’t wait to end the market season with a bunch of animals in costumes! PSA there will be a costume contest for children that day as well at the market so bring the whole crew!!🐾👻

This precious girl has such a special place in my heart! She played with my son & his friends SO well at the playground where we found her. (Technically, she found us. 😉)

When we went to leave, she cried and patiently waited by my car. I couldn’t leave her there, of course, so I loaded her up and about 2 hrs and a pup cup from Happy Daze later, she arrived at the shelter.

This girl has the sweet, playful energy for kids and the need for loving cuddles in your lap when she’s ready to settle down. She was an angel in the car, never moving from my lap.

She deserves the BEST forever family! If you know who might fit that bill, please tell them about her!

Also, idk if coincidence or not, but they gave her my middle name! 🥹 (I had to produce my I.D. at drop off during paperwork.)

EASY DIY Doggy Ice Cream

🍌1 Ripe Banana
🥜1/2 cup Peanut Butter
🥛1 cup Plain Natural Yogurt
🍯1 teaspoon Honey

• Heat the peanut butter until easy to stir.
• Mash the ripe banana in a bowl.
• Mix in the plain yogurt.
• Add honey to the banana and yogurt mixture.
• Stir the peanut butter into the mixture until everything is well combined.
• Pour the mixture into a container and place in the freezer.
• Freeze for at least 6 hours to chill.

🍦This is a great way to cool down your furry friend during the hot summer months!

🐶Make sure to use natural, unsweetened yogurt and peanut butter without xylitol to keep it healthy for your pup!

Life threatening cold Tuesday morning. Please, bring in your outdoor pets if possible or make sure they have adequate cover. Check on your neighbors and have backup heat sources if possible.
