Good news all! Trails are open!! I am ready to start booking rides, weekday afternoons and weekends. As always, it's approximately an hour ride for $45/pp. To start off the season I'd like to stick with SMALL groups as I have some new equine faces I'm working in and want to start easy with them. Ok! We are ready to start lessons this Thursday. As always, I am available weekday afternoons and weekends. My son does play baseball though, so have to work around that 😊

Figured it was time for a check-in since I've been getting calls for a month now! We all got a bit excited with the early spring weather, but being northern Maine mother nature did not disappoint, and we got plenty of late March/early April snow. Thankfully, it has melted quickly, and we seem to be on the right track now. That being said, there is lots of drying out to do before we can ride. As of right now, I would say we're on track for early May riding, fingers crossed, that is! Stay tuned for more updates as things dry out, and we get ready to start the 2024 season.

Well that's a wrap on calving season - 5 healthy calves, 1 heifer and 4 bulls. I always aimed for spring calves, but it's kind of nice having these early calves!

Well, even though the season is over for now, we have still been busy! Cam has officially joined the crew, as I gave in and adopted him. It was 100% the right choice. A new foster came in last week, more to come, but his name is Ozzie and he's super cute!

We had our first calf of the season. Ivy had a sweet little girl Friday morning who is healthy and doing great. Ivy slid into her job as mom perfectly!

And finally, I thought our wonderful part-time barn cat, Pete, needed a friend...so welcome Maverick!

Well I guess the time has come to call it a season...I always hate this time of year...I'll miss all my riders this winter 😢 but spring will be here before we know it!

Well, we are nearing the end of the season! We will keep riding as long as the snow holds off, but we all know how Northern Maine can be, so if you've been hoping to ride, please reach out soon while there is still time! We have two pigs looking for freezers to call home this fall! Pasture raised happy hogs! Fill that freezer with yummy fresh pork chops, hams, sausage and bacon! There's nothing better!!

$3.50/lb hanging weight plus butchering which is roughly $1.25/lb. Typical hanging weight for whole pig is 250. Will sell by half or whole. Please pm for more info or to reserve yours.

Thinking about your freezer this winter and the ever rising price of food? Well, we have a couple pigs left still looking for freezers in late October and a couple Thanksgiving turkeys not spoken for yet (or freeze them for whatever time of year you prefer to eat turkey!). Pm for more into! All naturally raised; pigs are pastured and turkeys free range.

Last horse show of the season was a bitter sweet one...the girls had a great day and both did very well. I'm proud to have them riding my horses representing my farm ❤️ but for one of them it was her last ride with us. We will miss you but good luck on your new adventures!!
