Did you know that lilies are extremely poisonous to our feline friends? Even having them in a separate room can put your cats in danger. The pollen from these beautiful flowers can become airborne, and when your cats groom themselves, they can inadvertently ingest harmful toxins, leading to poisoning or even kidney failure.

For the safety of your furry companions, it’s best to avoid having lilies in or around your home altogether. Let's keep our pets safe and healthy! 💖🐱

The boys were at the vet today. They were all so well behaved!! A little b***y scratch from Dr. Jehna at The Vetting Zoo and friends were made! They have upper respiratory infections so we got some yummy pills😒 and eye ointment that stings to take home. Fun all around!

They are thankfully not acting sick at all (except for the sneezing in my face) and they play and eat all day. A little kitty cold isn’t gonna bring them down!

To prove this as fact… I had to take a half day off work to get them there and was a little excited to sleep in this morning. These boys weren’t going to let that happen! I was up at my usual time and kept awake for the whole morning because my body was being used as their springboard for their games of chase. So yeah… they are all feeling okay. 😂

I mainly took them into the vet for the continuous eye boogers (eyes are super important to keep healthy!) and because I was tired of getting wet sneezes to the face all night! 🤣 yuck! Now they can get all fixed up and ready to find their forever homes.

Update on my former foster Blossom, now Ophelia!

Ophelia is obsessed with her mom, clean sheets, gift-giving and her fur-sister. She is punctual and if her mom doesn’t get up with her alarm, sweet Ophelia tries to wake her mom up with the positive reinforcement of gift-giving 😂 check out the photos for some of the items she’s “gifted” her mom!

She’s reported to be very chatty and quite the Velcro kitty. Plus, she’s a silly fur ball and will zip around the house with her sister. Ophelia must be a fan of slapstick comedy because she ends her run through the house by throwing herself onto the funniest poses! Check out the comments for a video of her hilarious interaction with fresh sheets!

I love getting updates from former foster’s new families 😍 it makes my heart full and helps me to keep on fostering even if things get tough.

These kittens went to amazing home. I miss them very much but I’m very happy they are in for the best life possible🩵🩵

Bella and Hemi were adopted together! Hooray! Congratulations to these two and their family, and we wish them the happiest life together. ❤️ ❤️

Two HART kitties who have been waiting a LONG time to be adopted together are Buddy and Ivy. These two became fast friends in their foster home and love to play together. They give one another confidence and will help one another acclimate to a new home. These two are FULLY SPONSORED, as a generous supporter has agreed to fully sponsor Buddy and Ivy’s double adoption! Their future family will need to fill out the adoption application, go through the vetting process, and be approved — so we can ensure that they go to a safe and loving home — but their sponsor is generously picking up the tab.

Danny has been in the store for a long time now. He’s really sweet and kind!

UPDATE: Danny is been adopted! 😻

Adoptable Danny is ready for some peace, quiet and relaxation. A more accurate caption would be “Is it my Gotcha Day yet?”

Danny arrived at Pet Supplies Plus - Lemoyne, PA just before Christmas, and he still doesn’t have an adopter. This 8-month-old boy is a little shy with new people (and there are a lot of new people at the store), but when trusted friends (HART volunteers) come to take care of him each day, it is cuddle time, and Danny’s sweet personality shines! Danny loves rolling, flipping and contorting himself into the best positions for pets. He enjoys lap time and shows his appreciation with rumbling purrs.

As you can see, Danny’s a handsome tabby. What you can’t see in this photo is his short (but adorable) tail. He lost a big chunk of his tail in an injury months ago (He’s recovered!). His fluffy but compact tail only adds to his charm.
