Don’t forget the muzzle and tail😉
Just like we take care of our hair, dogs and cats should be regularly maintained at home too! Depending on the type of coat this will determine how much maintenance they require! Even double coated breeds should be brushed too, it will help remove excess undercoat reducing shedding! If you ever have questions or would like suggestions on tools let us know we are always happy to help!

Hello Paw Spa Family! As you may know we have gone through some changes recently. We are down to 3 groomers now and schedules have filled very quickly. As of now we are booked out till late July-early August. We know many of you are on our bump list and we will inform you as soon as possible if an appoinment becomes available.
We humbly ask everyone to do their best to give us as much time in advance to cancel or change your appointment. This will allow us to fill those spots. Please remember cancellations or reschedules must be done 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, or a $40 fee will be applied to the account.

Hi everyone! With warmer weather approaching this is the perfect time to talk about the best way to keep your fur babies cool this summer! Double coated breeds/mixes have two different types of hair essentially, when it’s shaved it can disrupt the growth cycle. Shaving can lead to permanent damage and the body is unable to regulate its temperature normally.

Our best advice is to make sure your dog is always hydrated and has a nearby source of water at all times. They should not be left outside for long periods of time and have access to shade. Beware of confined dog houses as they can unfortunately become dangerously hot.

Keeping this coat type maintained is key, regular removal of the undercoat will help tremendously. If you have questions please feel free to reach out!

***UPDATE***~3/17/2024~Rest in Peace, "DeeOgee". We are sad to report that "DeeOgee" has been found, but has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. We extend our deepest condolences to his family. Rest Easy, Sweet Boy.
