This handsome young man had his second professional groom the other day and did great! I have gotten the question lately, “when should I start bringing my puppy (poodle/doodle) in to be groomed?” A reputable breeder will send your puppy home with its first groom. After that, I recommend the dog coming to see me 6 to 8 weeks after that. This usually falls around 4 months of age. Getting your puppy on a grooming schedule sooner rather than later will help them understand that it is a normal and safe process. There will be less anxiety and fear surrounding grooming, brushing, and nail trims for your dog as it ages. Sooner is better than later, book your puppy appointment today!🐶🩵

As some of you know, I rescued a little kitten off the highway almost 3 weeks ago. After a visit to the vet to get her updated on all her vaccines and checked out she came to the shop! Her name is Scrappy Doo, she has become our shop kitty. She loves anyone and everyone who comes through the door, dog and human alike!! We are thrilled to have her with us. If there are dogs that do not like cats she has a space where she is put away. Everyone help welcome Scrappy to the Paws and Claws family!

We had the pleasure of taking care of this extremely handsome older gentleman today. Max loved being pampered and his deshedding treatment left him feeling lighter and cleaner. Our floors were covered in hair. We love seeing the outcome and facial expressions of our clients after their spa day. I mean come on, just look at that smile!
