The West River Veterinary Clinic, PC (WRVC) is a full service veterinary clinic serving North and South Dakota. We are a mixed animal practice employing five veterinarians: Dr. Henderson, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Innes, Dr. Lensing and Dr. Vailes. Our three large animal veterinarians provide a variety of services including ultrasounding, pregnancy checking, bangs vaccinating, fertility testing, herd heal

th consulting, and much more. The WRVC is also a Fore-Most provider offering many types of chutes, headgates, calf tables, panels and tub and alley systems. We have the area’s largest selection of animal health care products including vaccines, antibiotics, calving supplies, pour ons and fly tags. Check out our supply of Hauptner, Roux and Allflex vaccine guns. We also carry replacement part for all three vaccine guns. For those who need to treat on the prairie we carry Medi-Dart and Cap-Chur products. Along with large animal care the WRVC provides many small animal services including boarding and grooming. Surgeries, such as spays and neuters, are performed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Grooming services by Myranda are offered daily. We are excited about the line of Lupine collars, leashes and harnesses we now offer. Lupine products are made of exceptional quality, are very affordable and come in a large array of colors and patterns. Best of all, Lupine products are guaranteed even if chewed! Just a caution for taking dogs to the lakes for activities. Dogs can become exposed by swimming or drinking infected water. If your dog shows any signs of vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or tremors after swimming, call your veterinarian immediately. Liver and nervous system disease can occur, so do not delay if you are concerned!

WRVC not only has a great staff, facility, and equipment; but we also place a high priority on a balanced work and family life.
The receptionist position predominately involves greeting and serving clients and their pets, answering the telephone and scheduling appointments.
The large animal assistants spends the majority of their time working out in the country with livestock, operating hydraulic chutes, vaccinating cattle, and assisting in day-to-day operations at the clinic.

A 11 month old Brittany Spaniel went missing last night when we had him out running around. He was last seen by the 4-H animal area/ Fireman's training area. His name is Apollo. We’ve received some comments about problems with getting a busy signal when calling the clinic. We have addressed this issue with Consolidated and it appears that they have received a lot of complaints from others, but assured us that it is not a problem with their service, but a problem with the cell phone towers. The issue has been on and off for the last couple of weeks, but they informed us that today seems particularly difficult. We apologize for the inconvenience our clients are experiencing and ask that you continue to try calling if you get a busy signal or opt to use a landline, as our staff is waiting by the phones ready to assist you.

If your pet is not eating fast enough to keep up with the Pallet Project, never fear. You are not underfeeding your dog. My dog eats a bag about every 6 weeks. We have some people that order every other month and others with multiple dogs that need an extra bag every other month.. Another option would be to reduce the size of the bag that comes monthly. Simply respond to the email that is announcing the next order, call the clinic at 701-567-4333 or text us at 701-928-1509 with your name and product and we will hold off the order until the next month.
