Chow Chow that we named Furbee. He was likely house trained. He will allow pets and scratches in his thick coat. He enjoys going out for walks.

Female, brindle and white, bully mix that we named Misty. She started out scared and wary of us but has surprised me by becoming increasingly tolerant and even interested in human attention. Whereas she formerly stayed at the end of our long leash on walks, she now routinely walks near us or at our sides. She flops on her back and wriggles around. She allows pets and has leaned in for belly rubs and has also showed signs of being social with other dogs. She was very interested in the beagle/dachshund mix that was with us. Misty would start romping and prancing when she would see him. They did several fence greetings and the body language was all positive.

Sophie is still hanging out with her buddies at the Sanctuary, waiting ever so patiently for furever home. She is a little on the shy side, but with time, she will come around to steal tour heart. She has the sweetest little "meow" and can hold great conversations.

They are always looking for snuggles, walks or playtime. If you would like to volunteer in any of our areas, please contact GFAS through Facebook Messenger.

Some places GFAS shops at are Morristown Fuel Supply, Heuvelton Farm & Garden, Tractor Supply Co, Harbor Freight, Lowe’s, Walmart, Dollar General and Dollar Tree.
