It is wonderful to know that "Rattle Snake Avoidence Training" is working for the Fuzz Patrol. We all stayed back a respectful distance and did the "bad snake alert bark". The dogs also called off the snake willingly...

Always worth the extra effort to have the office outside to take advantage of a perfect day.

My friend Robin posted these questions and now I am curious.

Where are all of you hiding out today?
What do you do?
How long have you been doing it?
Do you love/hate it?
Is it what you thought you'd grow up to be?
And feel free to share some pics in the comments to go along with your story! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Whether it's your current view or a spectacular selfie or hell... both... let's see it!

Steve's prayer:

Dearest God in Heaven:
Give me the strength to guide my horse.
Make my hands soft and my head clear.
Let my horse understand me and I him.
My heart you have blessed with a special
love of these animals,
let me never lose sight of it.
My soul you have gifted
with a deep need for them,
let that need never lessen.
Always let my breath catch as
the sun gleams on an elegant head.
Always may my throat tighten at the sound
of a gentle nicker.
Let the scent of fresh hay
and a new bag of grain
always be sweet to me.
let the soft touch of a warm nose on my hand
always bring a smile.
I adore the joy of a warm day
filled with sunshine,
the grace and splendor of a running horse.
The thunder of its hooves, makes my eyes
glisten and my heart soar.
Let it always be so.
Dearest God grant me patience,
for horses are harnessed wind
and wind can be flighty.
Let me not frighten or harm them,
instead show me ways to understand them.
Above all, Dear God, fill my life with them.
When I pass from this world,
send my soul to NO Heaven without them.
For this love you have given me graces
my existence and I shall cherish it
and praise You for it for all time.

Amen

This was something we found in Steve's paperwork after he passed away-I am sure he is in Heaven doing what he loved, riding horses! Julie

When we give ourselves permission to be awkward beginners, we have the opportunity to make new discoveries...... The beginner is an empty cup ready to be filled. If we expect perfection from ourselves in every endeavor, we will never find the creative opportunity; we will be too focused on getting it right to recognize inspiration, even if it hits us over the head.
