In 2015 I took in an owner surrender. Owner got him as a puppy, put him in a kennel and left him in that kennel for four years. he was adopted to a wonderful family complete with fur siblings who cherished him for the rest of his next 9 years. I am so that he was given the chance to be the rest of his days

My heart is broken, heavy with the words you earned your today. I’m a hot mess just trying to write your story up. I can’t see thru the tears that keep coming these last few weeks since we found out you had brain cancer.

Jacob, you, of all the dogs I’ve adopted out, I feel like you were my destiny dog in rescue.
On Sept 25, 2021 my friend Jackie called me frantic about a dog in the avenue at the end of our block. She said, he’s trying to get into cars at the light.
I have never seen a dog so frantic to find someone to take him. You were on a busy street Checking cars stopped at the light, going into peoples yards where you saw them from the street. No one would accept you. By the time I stopped my car and got out with a leash the light was turning green again.
I was sure I was going to witness you getting hit by a car.
I got low and started baby calling you over.
You legit ran towards me like we were old friends. All 70 lbs of you.
I wanted to call you Jesus.
You chose Jacob tho.
You were filthy and your chest and belly were red with scratches.
Turns out You were found as a stray and adopted out from Broward animal control a year before by a family that lives a block away me.
You were chipped and registered.
Your previous owners blocked anyone that tried to tell them I had their dog.
The lady who answered my call said she didn’t know anything about any dog, and then I was blocked.
They wouldn’t answer the door when I stopped by.

I didn’t understand because you seemed pretty perfect to me. Friendly, housetrained, Crate trained, great with other dogs,never once barked indoors, trained not to get up on furniture….. that was a first for me.

You were meant to be in my rescue all along.
How lucky you were to find people who wanted you to be part of their family and are seriously grieving for the lack of time we had with you.
What a hole you have left in our hearts.
It truely was a blessing to be part of your life. Until we meet again at the my sweet boy

Who says don’t make into please welcome to she’s a year old and a mix between a and a dog. She was abandoned at a by her owner. Thankfully she was and her original owner was called to pick her up. Unfortunately she could not keep her because of her landlord but now she’s safe.

Bambi was rescued from a hoarder house by my sister rescue almost two years ago now. She was extremely feral when I got her. She’s a lot like a cat now, she comes to get affection when she wants a belly rub and will paw at my hand to keep going.

Does your dog need a ? is the little brown one in this video. She was from a hoarder house with 34 other dogs. She may never be a “lap dog” but she is affectionate with the people she trusts and comes over and gives kisses and or catch a side snuggle for a bit. She’s independent, loves her kennel and loves to play. She has lived here with me and has seen dozens of dogs come thru my rescue but never gets apps cuz she’s not a fluffy or a puppy. I guarantee she will tire your dog out cuz her absolute favorite thing to do is play chase with other dogs in the yard, or big huge zoomies if she’s without a playmate.

This happy boy is named Gabe. He was rescued from a pregnant homeless woman by my vet a year ago. 2 yrs male, fully vetted friendly and good with people and dogs. He is available to foster, adopt or even surrendered to another rescue.
