This Holiday season let's not forget our furry friends who are in need. This is a list of items that would greatly help local rescues and fosters care for these animals. Donations can be dropped off at lake chattuge animal hospital, valley river humane society or you can email me [email protected] and arrange pick up. You can also sponsor one of the animals just let us know their name. Financial donations can be made via our website.

Let's make this season special for them!

Another great TNR done. This will be 3 less pregnant cats in the world.

If you need any cats/kittens spayed/neutered please reach out.

The tnr is not a part of ARFS. This is something I do on my own, or you can reach out to cat lives matter via Tri-State Veterinary Clinic as well as call your local shelters and they can give you the correct person to call.

Once again I had the opportunity to volunteer with Tri State Spay/neuter clinic.

I will never stop or get tired trying to change the common view that a low cost clinic is not worth praise or is any less then any other veterinary clinic.

Today I happen to notice a few very special things. The compassion every staff member had for the animals and the dedication of doing things right. I saw scared animals being hugged, talked to, quality time being spent with them. I saw the surgical team being so meticulous with every detail. I saw teaching and learning. From the people who go to your vehicle and gather information, the staff making calls, the doctors, techs, volunteers and students...everyone of them deserves to be praised and I might add, thanked for doing the extra as well as the necessary.

So Thank you Tri-State Veterinary Clinic you are angels for our animals and our community.

Blessed beyond words! Today we got an amazing grant from our local Granny’s Attic. Along with many other deserving recipients! MBRA and ARFS were awarded also. Will never be able to thank these two groups enough for their help in not only keeping Wonderland Animal Sanctuary going but making it a safe and beautiful place for the animals. Please consider Granny’s Attic and ARFS when donating. We live in the most wonderful community ever , including our surrounding communities! 😊💜💜💜🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

🥶 🥶🥶 BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A HYPOTHERMIC ANIMAL‼️ 🥶🥶🥶

It will be in the single digits locally here overnight in Southeast Michigan. We will be getting 3–8 inches of snow tomorrow as well.

If you see something, DO SOMETHING!

Praying so hard right now for all of the animals trying to survive out there on the streets. 💔

Supporting Wonderland Animal Sanctuary

Wonderland Animal Sanctuary, located in Hayesville, provides a safe and compassionate home for 60–70 rescued animals. The sanctuary cares for a diverse group of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, a donkey, a mini horse, chickens, roosters, and occasionally ducks. Over the years, Wonderland has even taken in more unusual rescues, such as an orphaned raccoon.
Partnership in Action

The Mountain Beautification and Revitalization Association (MBRA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Towns County, has played a vital role in supporting the sanctuary. MBRA generously donated labor for construction and improvement projects, while ARFS supplied all necessary materials. This partnership allowed significant improvements to be made without placing financial strain on the sanctuary.

ARFS Support in 2024

In 2024, ARFS continued its commitment to Wonderland by providing a portable barn to replace a structure destroyed by a lightning strike and resulting fire. ARFS also funded and supported the repair of perimeter fencing, helping ensure the safety and well-being of the animals in Wonderland's care.
Through collaboration and community support, Wonderland Animal Sanctuary can continue its mission to protect and care for animals in need.
