Camps are targeted towards youth ages 5 – 12 with a half day camp for younger riders and a full day camp for riders 8 and older. We also offer a special Mother-Daughter camp experience and an Adaptive Riding camp. Camps teach horse care, anatomy, design and horse behavior while emphasizing the character building skills that horsemanship develops. Some classes fill up very quickly, so register soon if you have a particular week/camp in mind.

Today is Giving Tuesday and our horses are waiting to create more miracles.
Meet "Trevor", one of our inspiring Morning Star riders. When he first joined us, he
couldn't walk independently due to his severe disability. Today, he spends 30 minutes each week sitting tall and proud on Painter, one of our gentle therapy horses. Some call it a breakthrough - we call it the Morning Star way!

Miracles happen every day at Morning Star Adaptive Riding where our therapy horses become bridges to healing for children and adults facing life-limiting disabilities. They offer something medicine alone cannot: unconditional acceptance, genuine connection, and the freedom to move beyond physical and emotional barriers.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to be part of these transformative moments:
- Watch a child with cerebral palsy strengthen their core muscles while
experiencing the joy of independent movement atop one of our specially trained
horses
- Witness a mom struggling with MS find peace in the rhythmic motion of riding
- See a teenager with Down syndrome build confidence as they master new skills
in our arena
Our program serves riders of all ages facing challenges including
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Physical disabilities
- Developmental delays
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Mental health conditions
- Rare genetic disorders
But we can't do this vital work without your support. The cost of maintaining our therapy horses, specialized equipment, insurance and trained staff continues to rise. Each therapy session requires careful preparation, specialized tack, and dedicated volunteers – all of which come at a cost.
