When barn friends become family ♥️ These girls have known each other since since 3rd grade. Starting in September one by one they turned 16, Sept. 7 Cadence, Nov. 5 Layna, Nov. 7 Khloe and Bella. Watching them grow into beautiful, strong, loving young women has been such a blessing. They are such great role models for our younger girls that look up to them everyday at the barn. The barn has taught them so much more than how to ride. Anything from fixing golf cart tires (creatively 🤔), pressure washing, fighting off mad barn cats, and the list could go for a while. Most importantly it’s taught them to never give up and that hard work always pays off. I am thankful for each one of you! I am so proud of you ladies! Keep dreaming big you are going to do amazing things and I can’t wait to watch! You will always be family! Happy Sweet 16!! Your barn family loves you!! ♥️♥️

We wrapped up our shows away from the farm at the beautiful World Equestrian Center in Ocala Florida. We enjoyed spending the week with some of our barn family! Khloe had two beautiful rides on Gwen getting her in the ring before Nila made her debut. Nila did an exceptional job for her first time showing in performance. I’m so proud of the girls and Gwen! We have a couple of things to iron out over the winter but they will be a team to look out for in 2025! Catlin and Viper had two good rides in large classes of 14 and 12! Gunner held his own in academy in big horse classes. Delia and Gunner came home Reserve Lead Line Champions in both classes! This was Delia’s very first show and there were 6 in her class! Annie Windsor and Gunner were Reserve Champion 11-13 WT in two 12 horse classes! Presley had two good rides bringing home a 7th and 8th place in very big and competitive classes! She has grown so much in her riding! Growth and success are not determined by the color of the ribbon we get. We have to trust the process, put in the work, and enjoy the ride! The rest will come ♥️ We are so proud of each one of you!

We have some catching up to do! It’s been a busy few weeks! We took a group of riders to the first Horsemanship Showcase held at the Tryon International Equestrian Center at the end of September. These girls made us proud, they rode hard in very big and competitive classes. We are looking forward to attending this show again next year! Way to ride girls!

These girls had a great time at advanced camp last week! They rode, got to be instructors and trainers, they trail rode, rode ba****ck and were pony express riders. They had a dressage lecture and learned how it works in the Olympics from instructor/trainer Nancy Sterrett. It was hot the last two days but they pushed through! I think overall I had the most fun watching them do the pony express relay! Most of these girls have rode with us for 4 plus years. They are growing up! We are grateful that the barn is a special place in their life! ❤️🐴

We made it safely back down the mountain! This group rode hard at the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show! The competition was tough and each rider made us proud! Catlin showed performance for the first time and did a great job! He has worked hard on his riding skills! Branching out doing clinics, putting in a lot of saddle time and applying what he is learning when he is in the saddle. Huge improvements keep it up, it’s paying off!
Bella made a confident ride in a very competitive 10 horse 14-17 yr old WTC class bringing home two reserves! Ella showed in her first big WTC 13 and under class and did a great job on Viper! Even though her reins were slipping she kept riding! She nailed all of her transitions and her canter leads! Cadence did a great job riding Viper to a 4th place in the Novice rider 14-17 WTC age group! She handled the couple of bobbles that was thrown at her with ease!
Annie Showed in a huge class of 12 riders in the 11-13 WT age group on Gunner. They took home reserve in both classes! She navigated through those horses with ease, making sure they were seen! Gunner may have been the littlest one in there but you can’t tell him that! He thinks he is as big as any of them! He finished the show up for us with Nila in the 7-8 yr old WT age group with a first and second! Nila and Gunner both have big personalities and they love to put on a show! They definitely did! We are so proud of each one of you! Always remember no matter the ribbon you are always a winner to us! We are also so proud of our horses! They were ready to hold their own in tough competition! It’s always fun to show but it’s even more exciting when the competition makes you work for it! Thank you to Liz Holmes and all the horse management and staff for putting on a great show!
