We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team, Dr. Claire Bublitz Giles!

Dr. Claire grew up in Matthews, NC, and pursued her passion for animals at NC State University, where she earned a degree in Zoology before continuing to achieve her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with a focus on Food Animal Medicine. She most enjoys practicing ruminant medicine, and she has a special fondness for goats and sheep.

Outside of work, Dr. Claire enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their dog, Ivy. You’ll often find them exploring the great outdoors on a hike or enjoying cozy moments on the couch. She also loves staying active through running and working out, and when it’s time to unwind, she’s an avid reader.

Please join us in giving Dr. Claire a warm welcome to the HRMVS team!!

Any clients need barn cats? The rescue covers adoption fee just asks they have a job as mousers and have shelter and food provided! You may not see them around but they will come eat when no one is looking ♥️

These sweet babies need homes desperately!! They would make excellent barn cats, but really just need a shelter and daily food. All have been fixed and vaccinated.

Their stories are sad and heartbreaking. They’ve been removed from a cat hoarding situation where they literally lived in their own filth. After spending time in a clean environment with consistent food and some antibiotics, they are brand new kitties. But these poor babies need a permanent place to stay

They are currently housed in a garage that is safe, but far from ideal. Please help these unfortunate cats by offering a shelter for them. These poor things have been through enough and deserve so much better than the lives they have lived thus far 💙❤️💚💛❤️💙💛💚

Continuing vet tech week with our OG Marisa.

This is one of my favorite pictures as it embodies so much of our relationship. It was my view for so many years along with just one of the many many adventures we had. We have so many stories from the road and now although her role in the practice has changed she is still my right hand woman. I hope everyone enjoys talking to her when scheduling although I'm sure many clients miss seeing her in person. She makes this practice run smoothly and keeps us efficient. Thanks for all your hard work behind the scenes you are so appreciated!

Happy vet tech week to my wonderful staff!

We will start off with Courtney. She joined the practice 1.5 years ago and fit in immediately! She keeps us organized and the truck clean (thanks mom!). She starts every morning bright eyed ready to work with a smile and an iced coffee. Thanks for always keeping us safe especially with my neck and Dr Sarah cooking a baby! We love you and appreciate you so much!

Here is what her owners said about her:

Lou Lou is around 3-4 years old and is a catahoula and shepherd dog mix. She is an absolute sweetheart but does jump up for a hug at times when she’s excited. While she loves kids, she’s fast and may bump into them or jump onto them on the couch while trying to spread the love. She is energetic and loves to run freely, play fetch, and play with other dogs. Once she’s tired she loves to lay in the sun and chew on her bone. Her current best friend is a Shih-Tzu across the street. She is spayed and about 45 pounds. Lou is crate trained and loves to cuddle on the couch. She could be a great farm addition, her owners said she does good with chickens.
But due to conflict with another dog in the home LuLu is looking for a new family
