Meet Athena. This sweet girl was rescued from down south with her BFF and brought to us in search of the life they deserve but have never had ☹ Athena’s buddy Titan has been adopted, which is wonderful, but now it’s Athena’s turn. She is waiting patiently for her person/people. Athena is now a 3yr old female Terrier mix, weighing roughly 45lbs. Poor girl was half starved when we first saw her. Thankfully she is doing much better now.
Athena is sweet, very playful and a little rambunctious. Amazing what a good meal or two can do for a girl, huh? She is ok with other dogs her size, but no small animals. Due to her size and lack of experience, children under the age of 13yrs are not recommended. Athena is spayed and UTD on all.

URGENT SASSY AND PRIMO are shelter bound Monday, Jan 29, if room at Town Shelter- If no room, their fate is unknown. They are currently on Long Island. Their dad must leave his rental home due to divorce- his wife left and wants nothing to do with Primo and Sassy. He will move in with family right now but no one will or can take his furry children. WE see this ALL Of the Time- sometimes family members can help their human member but usually the furry companion has now hep. In todays environment, housing is scarce, especially for humans and their animals. WE are not a facility-we are purely foster based and we have so many in need. Won’t someone step up to give these two a safe haven? Shelters are full- and if no room, there is literally no place for these dogs to go. If they are “lucky enough” to find “safe haven” at the town shelter, they will be split and fate will be unknown.
Primo, pittie mush, 90 lbs is a neutered boy and is 6; Sassy, bulldog/pug mix, 35 lbs is a spayed girl who is 10 yrs old and they are best friends. They love to play, go for walks. Cats unknown, dogs are good. There has to be someone out there who has a home who can take these two in. PLEASE.

Sugar
Foster/Foster to Adopt Home Needed

Meet SUGAR! If ever a dog has earned its name, this girl certainly has! Sugar is a 4y/o female mix breed, weighing about 30lbs. She was found by a good Samaritan living on the streets! She was dragging her rear legs, so they assumed she was partially paralyzed. They brought her to a vet where we learned these were not recent injuries. ☹ The vet provided medical treatment that has had some successful results! Sugar can put a bit of weight on her hind legs and has some limited mobility! Our hope is she will continue to improve, but meanwhile she gets around great in her wheelchair from Joey's PAW and is a sweet, happy girl! Sugar gets along GREAT with other dogs & cats! She is spayed & up to date on all vaccines & preventatives.

Update on this beauty ! We pulled Molly from an upstate shelter after we were advised of her situation ...she had been there for months. We found the most incredible home for her here on li...she is soooo happy❤️
BUNNY 🐇 🐰 in search of a forever home! MEET NOAH! Noah is a male 18 month old black/grey Lionhead bun. He was surrendered by a former breeder who kept them in a retail storefront. That breeder rescued him from a pet store, where Noah was terrified of so many strangers handling him roughly. He's very affectionate, and loves to cuddle on the couch and watch TV! He's also litter-box trained, AND doesn't chew when he is left to free roam! He loves to be petted & brushed! He's now fully vetted, microchipped & neutered. Bunnies aren't to be kept in cages-they can be litterbox trained and free roam in a bunny proofed room or home, or kept in an Xpen. Bunnies aren't ideal pets for small children as they require delicate handling. But the good news? Bunnies can't be bathed, don't need groomers and don't require annual vaccines! They're very clean animals who are a LOT of fun-like a kitten that never grows up! Ideal foster to adopt parent will have prior bun experience. Senior boy loses senior parent 💔, now in need of a THIRD & final 🏡 home! Please like, follow & share to prove to Beau the 3rd time's the charm! MEET BEAU! Foster/Foster to Adopt Home Needed – Long Island, NY OR Lehigh Valley, PABeau's a sweet 9 y/o Boxer mix who's had a rough start. He was found in the street, hit by a car. A local shelter took him in and treated him. He was caged alone for 2 years as he doesn't do well with other dogs, but he's a 100 lb. gentle giant with people! In 2020 a local elderly man heard Beau’s story, met him & fell in love. They took many long walks daily & played fetch for hours. Sadly, his dad passed away. Family took him in, but it's not working, as he must be the only pet in the home. They're heartbroken because Beau is very loyal & sweet. He’s also smart! Upon meeting you he'll sit & give paw to say hi! He knows commands: stop, sit, give paw, drop it. He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date w/ all shots & preventatives, heartworm negative.
