Important Information for all Potential Buyers
Our stock answer for the question “How much” is $550/males & $600/females, HOWEVER this price is not ‘set-in-stone’. We factor a lot of things into our final price, such as location (how far will you have to travel to pick up your new baby), time of year (we always offer a discount on Christmas pups, we know all too well that budgets usually get stretched pretty thin during this season), & personal contact with the potential buyers - so please don’t hesitate to let us know if you would like us to consider lowering the price. We are open to negotiation, especially if we know they will be going to a good home! If you have a page on Facebook & contact us about purchasing a “Spoiled Rottenweiler” I will be checking out your page, it is in the best interest of the puppies for me to do so. I also do background checks if I have any doubt about a potential buyer.
As the popularity of “our line” has grown, so has the demand for our pups, and as a result, we do require a deposit ($50.00 (fifty dollars) minimum)- the deposit can be made in-person or via Paypal. (We also accept payments on the balance while the pup is still in our care, it is easier for some to pay a little at a time than to have the total balance at once) The deposit is non-refundable (unless the puppy becomes ill or dies while still under our care). We had to install this policy after several people ‘changed their minds’ when the time came to come for their pup and some others stayed in constant contact for weeks- then suddenly vanished without a trace - we need to know for sure each buyer is serious, the time comes too quickly that it is no longer feasible to keep them contained inside, we get way too attached, & at the last minute we are looking for fur-ever families AFTER turning away potential ones (who may have already gotten one somewhere else)- we already have FIVE, all but one are full-grown & set in their ways- keeping a puppy is just not something we can do - unless we have planned to do so in advance.
The most important thing to us is that each of our pups goes to a loving person or family who has the desire & necessary means to house, feed, and LOVE a Spoiled Rottenweiler. This enterprise was never intended to be for profit, it began & remains to this day as a labor of love.
We handle the following:
-- Tail docking (done at 3-5 days old)
-- Worming (2, 3, 4, & 6 weeks minimum)
Usually the pups are gone before any more need to be given, but if not, we follow the recommended schedule until they do leave us.
-- First vaccination (6-or-7-in one shot, administered at 5 weeks) same rule is applied as with worming, if they are still here, we make sure future vaccinations are done on schedule.
Our puppies NEVER touch the ground outside until you take them home with you. They are housed either inside our home or on our closed-in upstairs deck, both of which are thoroughly cleaned & bleached on a regular basis. Rottweilers are high-risk for parvo, and we make it a priority to make sure they don’t get it. Parasites can be just as deadly - limiting them to these 2 areas keeps potential exposure to a minimum.
Our past litters have all been fully weaned by no later than 5 weeks, so we are usually able to let them start leaving us at that time. They also usually are in the process of potty-training (which they catch on to very quickly)
We do NOT register our puppies. We sell PETS not PAPERS. They are fully capable of being CKC registered by their new families at one year of age (the info and application are available on the official CKC website) - many of our buyers have done this with no difficulty whatsoever. We started out with CKC registered dogs (Zeus Sr & Zina RIP to you both, the best friends we could ever have wished for) & bred within CKC circles, but I have a personal issue with the Kennel Clubs, & with the drastic and often cruel treatment I have seen or heard of in regards to other owners & breeders. I refuse to support it.
Both parents are on premises and available for viewing - all our adults (those who are with us and those who are over the Rainbow Bridge) and every litter also have numerous photos here on our page. Not dealing with the registration also helps us keep your cost down.
We have a detailed information packet that is given to all buyers via digital delivery - it gives you all the info on the puppies birth, parentage, etc. & also provides a schedule for immunizations, hints & tips we have learned since we first started breeding, & lots more! We are also available to answer any questions you may have, no matter how long ago you got your pup.
We genuinely love our dogs, the ones who stay here full-time AND the ones who leave us. We encourage all buyers to PLEASE update us on your baby as he/she grows up, send pictures, stories, or anything & we will share it on the page.
I think that covers the basics, please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or comments! Thanks
