Luna Ray found her forever home today!

Our donkey made her pause for a second but then she made her way to his fence row to introduce herself. She’s the sweetest and has a strong personality to boot! The legacy.

Raising labs is more than just a hobby, a way to make money, a filler, or whatever else you want to include. To us, it’s about the legacy.

R***r and Scarlet came from some of the last litters my dad had at Living Water Labs. My dad spent years researching, perfecting, and creating the bloodlines of the dogs he raised and bred. He poured his blood, sweat, and tears into and still gets calls to this day about people needing labs and heard that he raised some of the best dogs around. When we got Scarlet it was more than a dog, it was a legacy to carry on.

My husband has had a love for dogs and hunting his entire life. Funny insert: Austin would sneak out of the house at 4 and 5, take off to the woods with his water gun, climb a deer stand, and “hunt.” When the opportunity came about to breed and create a kennel and legacy for our family there was no saying no. Combining his love for labs, passion for hunting, and a legacy that would be his was just the start.

Muddy Swamp Kennels was born. And sure there seems to be kennels popping up around every corner, but that didn’t matter to us. We believe in what we do, and we aren’t here to be millionaires. We are here because — > watching kids come pick out ‘their puppy’ and leave with the biggest smile on their face, watching the pride of a young teen boy coming to pick up his first hunting dog, watching families love again after losing their lifelong friend, and I could continue for days, but the point is seeing the joy in our customers we meet and build relationships with and contributing to something more.

For us it’s about the legacy.
