Dear Valued Pet Owner,

We understand the convenience of online shopping and home delivery for pet pharmaceuticals. However, due to the high volume of requests we receive daily, we will be making changes to how we process requests through outside online pharmacies.

Starting on September 1, 2024, CVH will no longer be approving prescriptions requests from outside pharmacies by phone, email or fax. We understand that change is hard, but this does NOT mean you cannot get your pet’s prescriptions from an outside pharmacy if you wish to do so. You will need to request a written prescription for you to pick up from our clinic. This prescription can be taken or mailed to a pharmacy of your choosing. PLEASE know written prescriptions can take 3-5 business days. We appreciate your patience. Emergency medications should be requested in advance!

We highly encourage supporting local and small businesses. Which is why we have partnered with My Vet Store Online to launch our very own online pharmacy. This new service is designed to provide you with the convenience of ordering your pet's medications, supplements, and other health products from the comfort of your home and delivered straight to your door! We offer competitive pricing with the peace of mind that the products come from a reputable source and are backed by the manufacturer that we already currently use for our in-house products.

To celebrate the launch, we are offering 10% off on your first purchase! Use the code “CENTERVET” at checkout to redeem this offer.

Why Choose Our Online Pharmacy?
1. Convenience: Easily order your pet’s medications anytime, anywhere.
2. Competitive Pricing: Enjoy competitive prices on a wide range of products.
3. Trusted Source: Often, online pharmacies purchase from 3rd parties with no guarantee of how the products have been stored or where they come from. CVH cannot verify if a pharmacy is FDA compliant or if their products are backed by the manufacturer.
4. Prescription Management: Seamlessly manage your pet’s prescriptions with our integrated system.
5. Auto-Refills: Set up auto-refills to never miss a dose for your pet.

How It Works:
1. Visit Our Website: Go to https://cvhnc.myvetstoreonline.pharmacy/shop and click on the “Sign In/Register” in the top right-hand corner to set up your account. If you need help one of our staff would be happy to help you in our office.
2. Browse Products: Explore our extensive catalog of pet medications and health products.
3. Place an Order: Select the items you need and complete the secure checkout process.
4. Delivery: Have your order delivered right to your doorstep.

We are committed to providing exceptional care for your pets and enhancing your experience with us. Our team is always here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about the online pharmacy or any other services. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please speak with a member of our management team. Thank you for trusting our clinic with your pet’s health. We look forward to serving you in new and convenient ways.

Warm Regards,

Center Veterinary Hospital

It’s probably no surprise, but there’s no one-size-fits-all approach or magic remedy to help your pet shed excess pounds. What works for one pet doesn’t necessarily work for another pet.

During today's theme of "Nutrition and exercise matter," here are 6️⃣ helpful tips to keep in mind if you're looking to reduce your pet's weight: http://bit.ly/39G82HB

Suffering from “LITTLE DOG SYNDROME”?!
🆓 ******Free Expert Tip Below***** 🆓 👇

🐶 Little dog syndrome is not a dog behavior problem. It is completely human induced. If you have a small dog and they jump up, you probably reach out and pet them. If that same dog was 100lbs, you would have picked up the phone and called us already.

🤩 Dogs don’t see size. Same dog brain, just wrapped in a different package.

💥 We allow one to occur based on size and the other is critical, based on size.

🤯 If you look at your dog and and say “would I let my dog do that if it was 100lbs” and the answer is “NO” then it’s also “NO” at 5lbs.

It’s us. It’s solvable.

We wanted to share this fantastic article to help you to decide what's right for you and your growing puppy. Happy reading!

Over the years, many breeders, trainers, and owners have said that puppies should not be exercised until the growth plates are closed. I have been asked to radiograph 12-month-old dogs to make sure their growth plates are closed. Recently, a well-regarded colleague told me that he had an owner that....

02/03/2024

Let's not forget the kitties! Cats are masters of hiding pain. The canine tooth pictured here has a super painful crown lesion called a Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesion, also known as an FORL. A portion of the outer surface of the tooth is missing. Calculus had accumulated over the lesion so we couldn't see it until we cleaned the tooth.

As many as 50% of our feline friends have these cavity-like lesions in different areas of the tooth and oftentimes multiple teeth are affected. The sensitive portion of the affected tooth is often exposed so every time the cat drinks water and eats they feel pain.

If your cat has been picky with their food lately, has been dropping their food, has suddenly stopped chewing and started swallowing their kibble and treats whole, these and other signs may be evidence that your cat's mouth hurts.

Please schedule your purrfect friend with one of our veterinarians for a thorough mouth exam. 🐈🐈‍⬛🦷❤️
