$30.00 rebate off Dasuquin
Hey! Exciting news! 💥
We have an instant rebate for $30 off a bag of dasquin advanced now until the end of October.
We wanted to share information regarding a new product we stock for our canine patients with arthritis. We have seen improved mobility for patients receiving Librela injections. While this product can control pain, it does not specifically address joint health. Adding a joint supplement such as DASUQINE ADVANCED with ESM can support cartilage matrix production, helps inhibit certain enzymes that breakdown cartilage, and provide antioxidant support. A healthier joint is a less painful joint. If you would like to try this product, it currently has an instant $30 rebate.

Hyperthyroidism is one of the most common endocrine disorders in cats. 🐈 Hyperthyroidism happens when the thyroid gland makes too much thyroid hormone.
Symptoms of Hyperthyroidism:
*Weight-loss
*Increased appetite
*Increased thirst
*Restlessness
*Inappropriate Urination
*Chronic intermittent diarrhea/vomiting
*Demanding for food and Attention.
❓How to diagnose hyperthyroidism?
Hyperthyroidism can be diagnosed with a blood test that measures the concentration of thyroxine (T4). Because hyperthyroidism is caused by an overproduction of T4, cats with the disease usually have noticeably elevated T4 levels in their blood. Many routine bloodwork panels for cats also include a screening test for hyperthyroidism.

Hypothyroidism is one of the most common endocrine disorders in dogs.🐶 It occurs when the thyroid glands fail to produce adequate amounts of the hormones' thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3).
Symptoms of hypothyroidism:
*Overweight
*Thickened skin
*Dry hair coat
* Dull/Sparse hair coat
*Skin infections/Poor wound healing
* Darkened skin
❓How to diagnose hypothyroidism?
The most common screening test is a total thyroxine (TT4) level. This is a measurement of the main thyroid hormone in a blood sample. A low level of TT4, along with the presence of clinical signs, is suggestive of hypothyroidism.

Let us help keep your pet safe during the stressful times of fireworks. 💥
With the long weekend approaching, it's the perfect time to be proactive about firework care!
Your dog may shake, pant, drool, try to hide, or may actually try to “fight” the unseen enemy by running around, barking, and taking out the fear on their toys. Symptoms can range from mildly distressing to harming their self. Some escape yards, leading to the 5th of July being one of the busiest days of the year for animal shelters.
Here is a video of an example of noise phobia and some helpful tips to help:
🐾 MICROCHIP! This is the easiest and quickest way to have your pet returned to you! It takes minutes to get them microchipped. (Now is a great time to call and verify that the microchip company has your accurate phone number and address!)
🐾 SECURE FENCING! Walk the perimeter of your fence and make sure it's secure. Lock or tie all gates to ensure they can't get out!
🐾 ANTI-ANXIETY MEDS! Some pets are seriously terrified of fireworks. Anti-anxiety medication can help them relax. (Call to discuss!)
🐾 UPDATE YOUR PET'S ID TAGS! Make sure their tags have your current contact information.
🐾 EXERCISE THEM IN THE MORNING! Fireworks usually start early evening so exercising them in the morning will help wear them out and keep them inside in the evening.
Plus, with the heat, it's safer for them to go out before it gets too warm!
🐾 USE A LEASH/HARNESS! Even pets who are comfortable off-leash can run away when scared by fireworks.
🐾 KEEP THEM AT HOME! Don't take pets to fireworks displays or parties where they may get nervous and run away.
🐾 TURN ON THE TV OR RADIO! Having ambient noise on can help drown out the sound of fireworks.
🐾 TAKE A PICTURE! In the event your pet does get lost, you'll want a good, recent picture of them to share online. Take a photo of their full body, up close of their face, and any distinguishing marks that will help them be identifiable.
