This 2023 foal is the offspring of National winner and National Champion sire GRAND COMMANDD and IM DALA FAAIQ, a straight Egyptian mare who is a daughter and granddaughter of World Champions in halter.
The foal's sire, U.S. Top Ten Yearling Colt GRAND COMMANDD, has sired 79% champions from shown get. GRAND COMMANDD National winning get include winners in halter, sport horse in hand, western pleasure and hunt pleasure. At the 2022 Youth National Show, his son GRAND AUGUSTUS won National Championship in halter and hunt pleasure and a Reserve National Championship in english sidesaddle. His son GRAND PROMISE NA+/ has 6 Reserve National Championships in halter. Fourteen of his offspring have won titles at the Las Vegas Breeders World Cup Show, with four of them winning championship titles there. Sweet Hal, purebred Arabian stallion by Major Mac V, turned 4 this month. First time to have a “saddle” on his back. This is actually a bareback pad, a good way to introduce them to the feeling of a saddle on their back. Sometimes they stand perfectly while tightening up the girth but then when they start moving they reject the feeling of something on their back, they might buck out or just stand or just misbehave because they are scared. Hal had zero reaction to the pad on his back 🤷♀️🙏🥰 he just went right to work! Just love this young stallion.
