With Easter just around the corner, beautiful lilies will be everywhere. But please be aware that ALL parts of the lily plant (leaves, petals, pollen, even the water in the vase) are extremely toxic to cats. Ingesting a small amount, or even licking the pollen off their fur, can cause severe kidney failure and health issues.

Keep your feline friends safe this Easter by:

🔹Avoiding lilies altogether in your home.
🔹Checking bouquets carefully before bringing them inside.
🔹Educating friends and family about the danger.

If you suspect your cat has come into contact with a lily, seek immediate veterinary care. Early intervention is crucial!

Memorial Day weekend is here, and while we're firing up the grill and soaking up the sun, it's important to remember our pets can overheat easily. Here are some tips to keep your fur babies safe in the hot weather.

💧 Provide plenty of fresh, cool water throughout the day.

🆒 Seek shade and shelter. Don't leave your pets outside for extended periods, especially during peak sun hours.

🚗 Never leave pets in hot cars! Cracking the windows isn't enough. Cars can heat up quickly, even on seemingly mild days.

🛣️ Hot asphalt can burn. Take walks during cooler hours or stick to grassy areas.

😓 Know the signs of heatstroke. Excessive panting, drooling, glazed eyes, and vomiting are all emergencies. If you see these signs, get your pet to the vet immediately!

By following these simple tips, you can ensure your furry companions have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
