With Easter just around the corner, beautiful lilies will be everywhere. But please be aware that ALL parts of the lily plant (leaves, petals, pollen, even the water in the vase) are extremely toxic to cats. Ingesting a small amount, or even licking the pollen off their fur, can cause severe kidney failure and health issues.
Keep your feline friends safe this Easter by:
๐นAvoiding lilies altogether in your home.
๐นChecking bouquets carefully before bringing them inside.
๐นEducating friends and family about the danger.
If you suspect your cat has come into contact with a lily, seek immediate veterinary care. Early intervention is crucial!
