Yesterday, the last 2 puppies went to their new homes - Loki and Circe. It is such a amazing experience but is also a lot of work and very stressful. I am sad that they aren't with us anymore. I'll miss them terribly but I am so happy that all off them went to great families. I'm also blessed to be able to keep one.

Goose looked so confused last night when Circe left. I know he was lonely and he had a rough night because he howled and cried throughout the night. Hopefully, he'll adjust quickly.

And then there were 4 (but not for long). The house is getting quieter.

Cash went to his home with our neighbors down the street on Friday
Ares went to Northern IL on Saturday
Freya was picked up Sunday and is in Iowa
Odin was also picked up on Sunday and is in Waynesville

Helios is going to Kansas this morning and Caliope is going to Springfield, MO on Thursday.

We are keeping Merlin (Cronos) so that just leaves Circe and Loki.

We took the gang outside for the first time today. They didn't hesitate at all and loved exploring, playing in the grass, and chasing me.

7 weeks old today. We have 2 females and 3 males. AKC Registered. Current on vaccinations. All dark brindles.

7 weeks old today
It's getting hard to get pictures of them. When they are awake, they are full tilt until they pass out for a quick recharge.
They are eating only hard food now, will come when called (most of the time), and do not like to be told "no"

I took the puppies to their 6 week vet appointment this morning. Everyone got a clean bill of health, dewormed, and vaccinated. They all did so great.
They weren't really a fan of the wagon but it was super helpful for me. I was able to just roll them in instead of lugging them in. They are heavy now. They all weigh at least 7 pounds

6 weeks old today. They are extremely vocal and playful. Their personalities are really starting to shine.
The girls are bossy and opinionated just like their mom. The boys are more laid back and chill like their daddy

Our little nuggets are 5 weeks old today. They weigh around 5 to 6 pounds.

The gang is 4 weeks old (as of Sunday). They visited the vet for another round of worming meds. Their personalities are really starting to shine now.

We moved them into the livingroom Saturday and they are adjusting well. Arwen is feeding them less and less and they have really taken to eating puppy mush.

They recognize my voice and go crazy when I talk to them. They love snuggles and playing with each other.

They hate being cleaned with the puppy wipes, waiting for me to make breakfast /dinner, and car rides.

Happy 3rd Birthday Maverick aka Ed. We love you so much. You're goofy and silly and always make us laugh. Hopefully, you'll feel better soon my sweet boy.

I hope the cake and bone make up for me making you wear the silly hat lol

The puppies are 3 weeks old. Their personalities are starting to develop and they are starting to explore. Yesterday, they all climbed over the divider to the other side of the whelping pen.
Today, they were weighed, got their nails trimmed, and had mush for the first time. They did well with the mush and of course, more ended up in them than in their bellies.
I didn't take any pictures today, I think they had enough fun and excitement.

The gang went to the vet for visit #2. They received their first dose of worming meds and a check up. All are doing well and gaining weight. Next check and and second dose of worming meds in 2 weeks.

They are:
🐾 standing on all fours now
🐾Eyes are open and ears are starting to open
🐾All are very vocal, especially when hungry
🐾Starting to play with each other and growl at each other
🐾Still nursing

I love that they sleep with their little tongues out and on their backs like Maverick ❤️

Even though they're Boxers and not Frenchies, I need to do this with Arwen and the puppies. She loves her French Fries and plain cheeseburgers from McDonalds

The gang is a week old today. All are gaining weight well. The males are about 20 oz. Our two big boys are 24.15 (Atlas) and 23.2 (Helios). The females are a little smaller at 19.55 (Circe), 16.75 (Freya), and the smallest of all the puppies is 16.45 (Calliape).
Their eyes and ears are not open yet but should over the next week.
