Hey everyone, we’re working really hard to keep everyone cool and healthy through this heat wave.

We’ve decided not to do the final round of temperament testing this weekend because frankly the rats are miserable pancakes trying to stay cool (the portable A/C only does so much in 100 degree weather)

I appreciate everyone’s patience, we work really hard to place the right baby in the correct home and I don’t want to ask more of the rats this weekend after the week of heat we’ve had.

We’ll be working through them in stages over the next week and should reach out to everyone by Sunday.

Meet our 3rd generation of boys, they’re mostly 3-4 months still, excited to see how they develop. Bime has crawled into my heart the most, his behavior is soo similar to Nico’s and just loves attention!

Meet the second generation of our boys. Lukka was brought in from another Rattery to establish roan for us. The other three were born and bred here with us and were all sired by Nico, my heart rat. All of them have such unique temperaments 🤭 Ajanni is monstrous (and a little tubby) such good boys to carry on the lines!

These boys are seeking a new residence! please see details below.

Captain and Baron are 6 months old and come from a line we are discontinuing due to possible hormonal issues. The boys were placed before it was discovered and seem to not enjoy fraternity life very much.

They were well handled and very loved for the beginning part of their life and it was only with heavy heart and lots of consideration that they were surrendered, we appreciate that the decision had to be made for their best interest and those of others in the home.

They are very handleable and love pets and attention.

They are suitable for the following situations:
- Only rattos in the home
- housed separately from other rattos
- experienced with buck intros and willing to neuter if necessary
- willing to neuter to place with girls

They really are sweet boys, if you’re interested let me know!

Hey everyone, I just want to apologize here for the way things have gone at the Rodentry the last 3-4 months. I know I have a lot of messages to get to and my waitlist to work though as well. I haven’t forgotten anyone I promise.

My partner and I both ended up working a lot more than before, combined total of 3 full time jobs and all our time and energy went into just caring for our animals.

We also discovered some infertility in a line and a temperament concern that we needed to isolate before homing more.

We’re finally feeling caught up enough that it’s time for us to be more active with all of you. The animals are doing great, we’ve spent the last couple weeks upgrading the rodent room and sorting out our breeding goals.

A lot of our girls have reached breeding age, we intend to do a few more pairings than normal over the next couple months so we aren’t risking age related health concerns.

This weekend we have set aside to reach back out to everyone and get caught up on the paperwork side of things. Everyone on the waitlist already will be contacted first and then we’ll follow up with the new inquiries. I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding the past few months.

Hello everyone! We’ve got two litters that we’re doing picks for this week!

I will be sending pictures to everyone in the order of the waitlist based off of your preferences for gender and temperament.

Please respond within 48 hours, even if it’s just to let me know you’d like to wait for the next litter. After 48 hours I will be moving on to the next person on the list.

These babies are just about 3 weeks old and exploring outside of the cage for the first time. They’re all so brave and curious. All 6 boys from this litter will be available to our waitlist.

There’s 2 mink martens, a Pearl broken variegated, 1 black marten, 1 black blazed marten, a black Berkshire and a black Berkshire girl.

Lariska and Mimi’s litters we’re old enough to combine ina bigger toddler nursery, complete with ropes and hammocks and baskets to play in. Love watching them explore in this phase they’re all so confident. 💗

Hello everyone! It’s been a busy stressful week for me so I’m sorry about the lack of posts and responses. I’m going to be getting caught up with messages and emails this weekend.

For those on the waitlist, don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten you. We’re about to do a couple extra breedings since we’re going to be home more to try and catch up with those that have been waiting. The limited daylight hours are still affecting the girls, I think. I’ll be reaching out to each person as babies are born.

These two have a confirmed baby bump! Litter will be mostly marten babies with a few surprises thrown in. The temperaments of these babies are going to be squishy, eager for attention, loves!

The waitlist for boys from this litter is full; however, there will likely be some girls available for adoption.
